I'm willing to bet he's with a person or two from TAP, those guys never get listed in the magazine listings for some reason.

95 is very interesting. Tate with 9 weeks since his last episode (though he's probably had a bit less time than that because of his work on 91), Wanpack backing Tate up, Shida is storyboarding and we have a new writer who has worked on shows like Neon Genesis and Gurren Lagann.

And Kitano having 10 weeks since his last episode. I swear, with all that extra time, he better produce something decent.

All that outsourcing has payed off. Now that animators have much more time than usual to do their shit.

Watch all of his work be corrected by Ide because it wasn't good enough, lol.
Shimanuki will definitely put out some beautiful art on 98, that's for sure!
Hoping for Tate to give us some nice animation of Freeza and Goku vs the assassins in 95.
If they continue to keep their main supervisors separate we could be looking at a nice rotation in the tournament, maybe something like this;
99 - Nashizawa, 10 weeks
100 - Yashima, 9 weeks
101 - Ishikawa, 9 weeks
102 - Manabe, 9 weeks
103 - Karasawa, 9 weeks

and so on. I hope they're able to keep their main supervisors separate like they've been able to this whole arc (with the exception of Kitano).

It's very interesting to me that we have a new writer on 95, I wonder if they'll stick around or if they are just a guest.

EDIT: My rotation might be slightly off too, We're probably going to have a week off in July like usual, so each of those would go up by 1 week.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I don't know why it didn't cross my mind before, but Itai with 8 weeks for 96 is interesting, he usually get much less time than that. Hopefully he's able to deliver some really nice character art.
Itai with 8 weeks followed by Kitano with 10, that's so weird. I can only hope this is the point where supervisors now consistently get a fair amount of time for their episodes. Karasawa rejoining the staff certainly would help with that and if Yamazaki becomes a regular that would too.

Yamazaki + Karasawa would be dope.
I feel like Yamazaki's last episode was limited, he's even playing around with Tien. But with the current Staff Rotation, I think it's still too soon.

Hope they got a bunch of talented people in the Tournament, even if it's only a one time!
I'm bad at English and still learning. If there's anything wrong, please correct me. :D

I'm curious as to why Karasawa has seemingly modified is style. I dig it though, love the cheek shading.

Well Yamazaki said he hopes to get the call to work on Super again right after episode 90 aired, so him being on 98 would make sense if he was requested right after that tweet.
I'd rather he show up a bit later and he and the people he brings with him have a full 9 or more weeks to work on an episode.

I slightly dislike his way of drawing eyes, but i really like his shading all around.

I wonder how much time Karasawa had to work on episode 94. I'm very hyped for his return!

Hopefully he will also do a ToP episode, he's too good to not animate at least one big fight there!

Hopefully the polish in the NEP is indicative of the episode quality as a whole.
I'm sure Karasawa is back for at least awhile, the ToP will probably last for a fair number of episodes so there's no way he doesn't do at least one.

I wonder if Toma will ever come back.

Yes! Karasawa is back!!!!!! His beautiful art and special effects are finally back!

I was thinking, imagine if episode 93 actually had Kitano but because his art/animation was so bad they replaced him with the other animators/supervisors and had him work on episode 97. Given it was a frieza episode (shudders to episode 24), it would be really funny if this was the case.

98 not being a Tomioka episode is interesting, I expected the first few episodes of the ToP to be him.
The big gap between episodes boarded by Yamamoto is encouraging.

I liked that episode even though it looked like crap, mainly because of the Gohan torture scene.

Who is Yamamoto and why is that encouraging? Does he do most of supers story boards or something ?
