Yep, looks like he straight up said that first episode 96 listing is a lie.

The only thing that is left in my mind is how did they know the leaks would go up to #98 this month. This whole thing is a really good joke someone played.

I mean, none of us expected it but when I saw the fake leaks it didn't take me long to realize that 98 would air before the next release of Newtype/Animedia. A Japanese person would likely be more savvy about that kind of thing, especially a faker as sophisticated as this one. They were paying attention to Toshio's Twitter, maybe Furuya's too. There were a few dodgy details in the summaries, but that's often true of real summaries too so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are Animedia magazine scans supposed to leave around the 10th? Or can it leak earlier than it did with Newtype Magazine?

The leaks were fake because if something as shocking as Frieza switching to U4 was going to happen, the titles would have certainly mentioned it.
Now I'm just focused on the new fighters, even though I'm disappointed nine guys from U10 will not be revealed.

Who would've thought that those initial leaks from a couple days ago would go on to start a massive wildfire in the DB community? I've never seen anything like it, being a DB fan.:p

I was hesitant in taking them as 100% legit at the time, but I eventually rolled with it as likely -- because of the previous Freeza on Team U7 leaks became true (which sounded crazy at the time). And even now, nothing has been made clear. Whoever posted those initial leaks... that's some master class stuff. :/

Geekdom: I can't say that I follow your channel (I don't go on YT much), but I have seen a few of your videos from last year out of curiosity. Something stands out in my mind from that time -- you had created and uploaded a video that went into some of DB's past/lore/less talked about things, or something like that. Basically, it was rich in content and not made as a "gotta get more views" video. It interested me as a DB fan through and through. Around that same time, you had uploaded a video that was centered around power-scaling controversy. The power level video would go on to dwarf the other in views, of course (because that's all that matters in DB... right?). I remember coming across a comment from you, in that you had expressed some disappointment in the shallowness in what attracts the views to your channel. The video that you'd put more care and effort into was lost to the tsunami of views to the shallowness of power levels.

I would like to think that I'm a good judge of character. I know that you're a passionate fan of all things DB, and that your heart is in the right place when it comes to what you're doing with Youtube. Being bombarded by 100 things and being in the moment -- while feeling as being pressured to deliver the goods consistently-- anyone could've made an honest mistake.

Keep up the great work that you have been delivering to the DB community. You're the real deal, imo.

Good question. I'd check, but he tweets quite a bit, so I actually can't find it. Pretty sure he specified Yamcha, but I'd definitely not be opposed to more Furuya.

Jiren's VA is this guy "花輪英司" Eiji Hanawa, he did Tony Stark in Marvel Disk Wars.

They usually leak around the same time as Newtype, but we've never seen them earlier than the 6th. Even the text leak of 93's title came on the 6th (image confirmation came on the 7th). The early date (the 5th) was the most suspicious thing about these fake leaks.

Anyone who says they "no longer trust you," or that you "are not the person they thought you were" are overreacting. They put you on such a high pedestal because of your strict principles of no bullshit, no misinformation, and honesty. Danny, they are trying to find reasons to bring you down to their level.

If it's any consolation, I watch almost EVERY video about Dragon Ball you've put on YT, and I can safely say that in my eyes you are still the most trustworthy DB GodTuber YouTuber that I know of. Everyone. Makes. Mistakes. We're only human. People just need to realize that. I was going to make a comparison to Goku and the Z Fighters, but then again...their mistakes have resulted in the deaths of thousands, if not millions, so...yeah...

Apparently Geekdom has seen the full anime spread from Animedia and there's nothing about Super in it whatsoever. So we're done on monthly spoilers for now. We'll probably get WSJ for 95 in...roughly 13-14 hours? Something like that. Hopefully we'll get TV guide summaries in 2 weeks for 96-97, but if not we'll be relying entirely on WSJ for summaries this month.
