We'll probably get WSJ for 95 in...roughly 13-14 hours? Something like that. Hopefully we'll get TV guide summaries in 2 weeks for 96-97, but if not we'll be relying entirely on WSJ for summaries this month.
So, as we can hardly see synopses of these episodes for now, you think that Toshio's statement on Twitter (he said the synopses were fakes) and everything shown so far (including that you pointed out well in talking about Magazine releases), could we confirm, the leaks are fakes? Or are there still possibilities to be real?
I think the possibility they're real is incredibly slim. I'm not sure if the faker had inside info, explaining him getting 97's title almost right, or if he just made a lucky guess. If he did have inside info, it was either limited info, or he purposefully changed things to troll the fandom. In either of those cases, it's possible that other things will turn out to be true. I tend to lean toward "lucky guess" at this point, though.
But before those leaks, rumors that ToP would begin in episode 97 already existed, right?

Because of DBS's Blu-Ray and for being the start of the summer season (I think), then the person responsible for those leaks thought about it and it was right.
But neither the title is totally the same, it's just similar

Some people said that because of this they could have changed the titles of the magazine Newtype and the titles of the leaks were temporary.
But it does not make sense that these titles are true and have been changed because they indicate the same thing, which is the beginning of the tournament. It was not to hide any information, because in the magazine Newtype the title also indicates that the tournament will begin in this episode

Yeah, a new cour starts on 97, also a new ED debuts. The ToP starting that episode was likely the fruit of an educated guess anyone could do.

Hit may be taken out early too for worf effect.
Freeza doesnt appear in the intro either, he might be added along with Caulifla, though I also have the feeling Caulifla might be taken out midway.

Cabba or Krillin could be the surprises of the tournament, Cabbas case in order to make up his poor performance in the episode 93 and Krillin because Beerus told him to survive until the very end of the ToP.

Final 5 should be Goku,Jiren,Unknown Fighter,Kale and Gohan.

A tie is likely how they will extend the tournament further for few more episodes anyway

Not to mention at the end of Ep. 93 it's stated that there's only 90 minutes left until the tournament starts. at about 30 minutes per episode, it'll be like watching the final minutes tick away as the big moment approaches in Ep. 97. Anything more would seem like they're stretching time.

I do think being erased forever if you fall off the ring is true. It would make sense since the winning team would probably wish back their members.

We had recruitment episodes for quite some time now, it wasn't much time in universe though, this should now reflect on the actual tournament as well, surely it's possible to stretch out 48 hours for months..
It won't feel good if the number of recruitment episodes is higher than the actual tournament

I also think it's true, but then comes the question why killing in the ring isn't allowed if they gonna die a second later..
Maybe it's because the weaker but smarter giys to stand a chance?

My guess is that Zeno wants people to win without killing. Having be thrown off the ring would make it harder and whoever wins can be brought back if they are erased.

I dunno, I feel like if that were the case the Grand Priest would have outlined it during the breakdown of the rules. They know they're at risk of being erased anyway, and it doesn't make much sense to specify them that flight doesn't work outside the ring or that killing isn't allowed if the participants are going to die instantly anyway.

Yeah I mean what if Goku is the last one standing. That doesn't sound like a good thing. My guess is once you fall off, you'll be transported to the ring out the outside of the stage.

If they do get teleported to somewhere near the stage then expect the ones that got thrown off by someone attack each other for revenge  it may be against the rules to kill but it isnt against the rules to kill them after they get thrown off.

More complete summary with picture for 95 from Herms. The tournament arena is finished, Goku and Freeza fight against the assassins from U9 and Sidra and Rou are in the picture. Nothing about U4. But the but...

There's always the but, though it usually means nothing.

I know, but... Kidding. I would have dropped all about U4 and Freeza leaving if it wasn't for Yamcha's actor's tweet. It won't happen, but I'll just keep a window open until it's really confirmed it won't.

Right plus guessing #97 is easy based off on Toei's titles I'm sure many off us would have it really isn't fascinating that this person got that one almost right, even then that title isn't 100%.

Except the "leaks" themselves never mentioned Yamcha AT ALL, that was just fans jumping to conclusions.

He's most likely doing a B plot if he was fighimg their wouldn't be much dialogue anyway.

I know what the leaks said and I'm not saying they weren't fake, they were. It's probably a subplot for Yamcha, but I'm still gonna wait for confirmation.

Maybe Yamcha will team up both Trunks and Goten to protect the Earth from enemies while Team Universe 7 is competing at the TOP.

That would be interesting to see happened. I can imagine a universe, U9 or U4, being eliminated early on and then attempting to kill whoever eliminated them as revenge, But Zeno would erase them before they could do it.

I often see people wondering why there is a no killing rule, if you disappear when falling out of the ring, but the answer it's pretty easy
With killing allowed, strong people can easily go in genkidama mode and wipe everyone, while in this way, they necessarily have to control theirselves, giving the Zenos something funny to watch, while with the disappearing rule, they'll have to put maximum effort in the tournament, due to the fear of disappearing

I wonder if both U4 and U9 (which Gods have been designed by Toriyama) will get blown up before the tournament starts. Or maybe, this is foreshadowing twin universes co-operating in the ToP.
