I apologize! Just re-read your post and made an edit.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Toriyama specifically approved that section of SEG, not the whole books. I'm not saying "it was approved, so it's canon STFU!", but it was approved, and it was written with big letters inside the book, so take that as you will.batistabus wrote:You know this doesn't actually mean anything, right? If by "approved" you mean Toriyama looked at it and didn't say "no", you could say he "approved" of GT or even Evolution. You're free to play around with numbers like these in the Fan-Created Works section, but this has nothing to do with the Dragon Ball Super manga. Just as a suggestion, if you want to play with battle power numbers, you might want to use Golden Freeza's stated estimated power of 1,300,000 as reference.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:(approved by Toriyama)
And I think you should pay more attention to my post, because I'm not playing with numbers here. This isn't a discussion about who is stronger than who, we are talking about the story of the manga, specifically how SS forms work. I made these numbers to show TAF108 why, IMO, his interpretation of the story doesn't make sense.

Very impressive, that's another significant increase in sales. That's triple what the first Volume did which was only 30,361 copies.
It only came out on June 2 aswell so that's from 3 days.

For God sake, no! Please let it end on this month!Boo Machine wrote:I ca totally see this arc going on for 2 more chapters, with the appearance of Zeno being the cliff hanger for the next chapter.

Unfortunately I'll have to agree, I believe the next chapter will have trunks with his spirit sword and the chapter will end with cloudy zamasu, and July will have the conclusion with Zeno destroying Trunks timeline and have trunks and Mai go live in another timeline. Which I hope Toyotoro changes, because that was kind of a weak ending to a great arc.Noah wrote:For God sake, no! Highly doubt we're getting a Spirit Sword or Trunks killing Black. Goku's gonna call Zeno after Zamasu defuses and they're boned. Then the chapter will endGreatSaiyaJeff wrote:Unfortunately I'll have to agree, I believe the next chapter will have trunks with his spirit sword and the chapter will end with cloudy zamasu, and July will have the conclusion with Zeno destroying Trunks timeline and have trunks and Mai go live in another timeline. Spirit Sword is pretty much out of the question at this point, Toyotaro hasn't built Trunks up for it at all. Much more likely that Zeno gets called if they can't hold off Merged Zamasu long enough, or perhaps after Zamasu splits in two. Since we do know that Zamasu's immortality works just fine in the manga, destroying his body is unlikely, which means no Cloudmasu either.GreatSaiyaJeff wrote:Unfortunately I'll have to agree, I believe the next chapter will have trunks with his spirit sword and the chapter will end with cloudy zamasu, and July will have the conclusion with Zeno destroying Trunks timeline and have trunks and Mai go live in another timeline. I really hope the Cloudmasu conclusion is kept. Easily the most creative climax for a DB villain in a long time and put Zamasu in a threat class all his own. If anything I'd want Toyotaro to expand on that a bit more.

While I agree he hasn't done much since the fight has started, he has been built up a bit. They brought up the fact that he was an apprentice. Sure it was to brought up so he could heal Goku, but I don't think the spirit sword is fully out of the question.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:Spirit Sword is pretty much out of the question at this point, Toyotaro hasn't built Trunks up for it at all. I said that Toyotaro hadn't built Trunks up for the Spirit Sword ending. He's certainly been given some attention, and though it's been pretty disjointed, I've enjoyed most of the results.GreatSaiyaJeff wrote:While I agree he hasn't done much since the fight has started, he has been built up a bit. Do you think these massive sales could lead to them turning it into a weekly manga to get more volumes out ?Bullza wrote:Very impressive, that's another significant increase in sales. That's triple what the first Volume did which was only 30,361 copies.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I'm probably not the best person to ask for that but I wouldn't think so. The series is running in V Jump which is from the same company who does Weekly Shown Jump, I'm not sure if it swapping over to running in that instead would be the only way for it to get a weekly release.sintzu wrote:Do you think these massive sales could lead to them turning it into a weekly manga to get more volumes out ?Bullza wrote:Very impressive, that's another significant increase in sales. If so it wouldn't be a bad idea because they've been struggling with titles at the moment and keep cancelling newbies titles because they aren't popular. At least with Dragon Ball Super they'd know it's a sure thing.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Why do people want the manga to turn weekly so much? It's not like we'd have a substantial page increase.
Counting that a month has 4 weeks, Mr.Toriyama dished out about 52-60 pages per month. Toyotarõ is currently doing 45.
If it happened I predict the quality would drop and the chapters would be more unnatural. What I mean is that it's easier to build a chapter with 45 pages than with 15.

Volume 1 released in France was also number one in charts of April over there.Lord Beerus wrote:Those are awesome numbers. The manga is truly gaining deserved amount of increasing popularity.
Keep it up, Toyotaro.

I just want Zamasu to defuse into F.Zamasu and Black, and have Black be completely exhausted because of all the fighting he had inside the merged body, which, because he isn't immortal like his counterpart, took all the damage he received. After that Trunks comes in and completely murders him. I would die happy to see Trunks hold his sword like Black did against him in the beggining of the arc.

That would be anti-climatic as fuck, as well as one final quick to the dick to Black as a character.Misirius wrote:I just want Zamasu to defuse into F.Zamasu and Black, and have Black be completely exhausted because of all the fighting he had inside the merged body, which, because he isn't immortal like his counterpart, took all the damage he received. Or Zamas loses because Black fused while he was in Super Saiyan, and we were told that using the potara while in SS would probably kill you.
