I would think getting the listing right and having different title would be a greater troll.ArchedThunder wrote:To mess with the fanbase? People like to be assholes for the fun of it.HeroR wrote:

But I don't know enough about trolling, at least when it comes to this, to know.

I'll just wait and see, we should know more today, right?
If they're gonna ask Toshio stuff, they should try it in Japanese because his broken English can go either way.

Hard to tell if he did that shot, but this episode will mark animation supervisor Yuichi Karasawa's return to Super. Back in the previous two arcs he was considered one of, if not the best supervisor on the show, now when the show is looking better it looks like we're getting some insanely polished art from him.Freeza9000 wrote: My dick just got hard. Let's not forget the amazing work Nagamine Tatsuya and Nakamura Ryota are doing as Directors. That Golden Freeza's shot is just one of the many beauties we had in this arc.ArchedThunder wrote:Hard to tell if he did that shot, but this episode will mark animation supervisor Yuichi Karasawa's return to Super. There is no way Freeza will be part of the gang. He is pure evil, while Vegeta was more of a stuck up asshole. Even a GoD calls Freeza the emperor of evil.
Can you imagine King Piccolo becoming part of the gang? Very tragic. And Piccolo jr doesnt count since he was softer than King Piccolo from the get go.

Vegeta was pretty damn evil, he just had someone stronger then that kept him in line (Even if Vegeta was hopping for Frieza's demise while in said line). Even if he wasn't, so what? Being pure evil doesn't mean you won't work as part of a team to avoid getting erased along with the rest of the universe.buutenks wrote:There is no way Freeza will be part of the gang. Well no i meant Freeza will never become like Vegeta, aka care for the z fighters, earth etc.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Freeza becoming like Vegeta/Piccolo will be the biggest jump the shark moment in Dragonball history as well as the last straw that breaks the camels back and ruins Super forever. I don't think people want Super to be "Ruined Forever" so let's hope the writers or Toriyama have not gone off the deep end. At this point Toriyama would do it just to troll.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The entire premise of Freeza joining the team relies on him staying evil, and we already know that he's going to be scheming with Frost in the very near future. Good Freeza isn't happening.precita wrote:Freeza becoming like Vegeta/Piccolo will be the biggest jump the shark moment in Dragonball history as well as the last straw that breaks the camels back and ruins Super forever. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
When it comes to Frieza going good....you have a lot to overcome.
Piccolo was not as evil as his father and was more open to change while Vegeta's change was much slower. Vegeta's change is primarily due to circumstances after Namek. With no Dragon Balls, no way off earth and his rivalry with Goku know fully matured, he naturally gravitated towards Bulma because she offered him a place to stay (were else could he go) and she could provide him with a gravity machine like the one Goku had used to get so strong. After that point Bulma and Trunks (both future and present) slowly wormed their way into his heart and in time he changed.
Frieza on the other hand has none of that. He's got none of Piccolo's honor and his goal is still "Murder Goku". There's nothing in place as of yet to get him change. Once the tournament is over and he's back for keeps, there's nothing stopping him just heading off into space and starting to all his evil crap all over again. Basically we have not even started down that road yet, their chat in hell was really just that, a chat between mortal enemies who need something from each other. Something needs to happen that will either tie Frieza to Goku and Earth for a while or get him to drastically change his views on either Goku or life in general.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The problem in general is also making Freeza a recurring villain. This isn't Batman where Joker gets out of jail or comes back every few years to cause more trouble. Dragonball has never had a recurring villain before, and that was a good thing. Villains either died or they reformed and became good.
This isn't western superhero shows where the villains just keep returning until the end of time.

Hmm, so still no image preview for the Shikishi Art 4. (An image preview for the Shikishi art spoiled SSR Black).
Furthermore, the official stock image of the Dragon Ball Super World Collectable Figures Volume 9 has Golden Angel Freeza "mysteried" out...
Seems a conscious decision to quash merchandising spoiling things, perhaps another thing brought in by the GOAT directors Nagamine & Nakamura?

I like Piccolo and 17 shaking hands. I mean, their fight was pretty much the best moment for either character.

The art in that Goku/Freeza scene looks horrible, it's giving me flashbacks to the Return of F animation in Super.
