Am I the only one feeling the animations are kinda missing one or two frames? Everything moves laggy. Not Mortal Kombat/Injustice bad, but still pretty far from Street Fighter goodness or even Guilty Gear's standard.

It's probably way to early to complain about that, though.

I'm happy that Golden Frieza is a transformation. I'm sure Blue will be a separate slot, same with SSJ4 but they'll probably be DLC If in the game at all.

Seeing the stage destruction, going from Namek to destroyed Namek was a highlight and a welcome return!

All I need is some alt colors, Bardock, and We Gotta Power and I'm 1000% buy

Are you watching a video that's only 30fps?

I had the same reaction until I watched a 60fps video. Way smoother.

I'd say that any game that tries to have BT3's roster is already failing.
Why?? :o

It's just as noticeable. ArcSys does try to recreate the sprite feeling with their models, but Guilty Gear Xrd does it better. But again, it's too early to be a problem.

With competitive fighting games, every single character is unique. They all fight differently. For this game to have Tenkaichi 3 amounts of characters is incredibly unrealistic.

The reason why there are so many characters in Tenkaichi 3 is because everyone fights the same in that game. What makes them all different from each other are their Super attacks, animations and designs. Other than that, they're all the same.

Tenkaichi 3's roster always boggled my mind. Why the hell are there so many Goku's in that game?

Yeah that's pretty much it. Isn't that what it means to lack content? Most criticisms for Tekken 7 have been mentioning its lack of content due to missing game modes and the like.

I expect this game just like Super Dragon Ball Z will probably just have your ordinary modes, Arcade, Vs both online and offline.

The Dragon Ball Z games usually offer more which is why I took more to them as games. Just the constant fighting and that's it has never been enough for me, that gets repetitive real quick which is why I never took too much to fighting games outside of Tekken.

I've got no problem with the game being made though. It's not like it's stopping a game I want from coming out in its place and it's not like those Dragon Ball Z games with lots of content have been that great either.

If for Xenoverse 3 they swapped out the usual fighting mechanics for this games fighting mechanics then that'd suit me just fine because this looks like better in that regard.

Gameplay looks slick! Also, judging by the roster, it looks like there'll be around 20 characters. Good!

I'm honestly not surprised, as this is what I'd expect from the opposing side, just like some folks who are on the Budokai/2-D side that constantly bash Tenkaichi and Xenoverse. Even though it's exciting to see this game to become a competitive anime fighter, I'm also somewhat frightened about it at the same time, cuz it will bring out the worst out of this side of the fanbase, ending up more like some of those egotistical fools you see on EVO (even though I do see a few of them on youtube) and those who are super pro-MLG to the point where they trash on others for their preferences. It's scary.

I'm lookin up all kinds of ways to get better at fighting so i'll be ready for this game! Right now I'm getting into guilty gear...but using the d pad on a standard playstation controller for directional inputs gives me thumb blisters. I prefer to use the analog! Anyway hope u can get better fast :D

I liked that it was possible to play as Goku from across the entire series, especially that Early Goku with the small Genki Dama, but it really came down to the poorly conceived system where every character had the exact same number of specials. Had they used the Budokai series' character customization system they could have folded all of those moves and skins into one character.

Well, I think they could do it if they were motivated :D :D At least, I hope to see all the Z fighters and the main villains (and Broly) .

Piece of crap. Gohan was hit by Sorbet's ring. He should be dead. Game is inaccurate. 0/10.

Ok this game looks so cool. I'm probably gonna suck at it, but I don't care. Dragon FighterZ for EVO let's go come on!
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I'm not good at these "real" fighting games but I'll still play the crap out of it. This looks fantastic.

You're maybe the only one, it's using the "framing" technique that Guilty Gear Xrd is using by cutting out frames on purpose from the attacks to simulate the Anime feel, it looks a bit weirder because the action is faster-paced and there aren't many direct-feed videos at 60FPS.

Yep. I like the look of the animations in this better than Xrd though, Xrd went for 12fps animations while this looks to be going for 24fps.
