Okay here we go

1. I relate a lot of things in history with Dragonball in a vain effort to make things that are totally boring to me somewhat interesting.

2. I can’t wear a black shirt with black boxers without thinking of Racoome.

3. I relate a lot of movies and plays to Dragonball trying to find similarities.

4. I also quote Dragonball far too much in my everyday life.

5.I relate Dragonball to religion

Well, I'm sure they're not as interesting as those school myths, but I remember some people here mentioning doing some minor DBZ-centered fanatic stuff in their boredom. In particular, using a marker and putting an "M" on their forehead and doing the fusion dance (which I agree that all DBZ fans had to have done at least once in their life).

I remember me an' my friend at the time doing a part of the fusion dance (the end part where your fingers meet) during class and my teacher just staring at us for a second. Amazingly enough, our fingers got the pose dead on. Hm. I should stop with this fusion thing before Desire's post fully sinks in.

And in more recent years, most of the students ended up calling this other kid stuff like "Super Saiyan" or "Goku" when he decided to style his hair a different way. There's also the time when a guy in my English class blurted out Goku when we were discussing the imagery of flying in poems. Both times didn't concern a hardcore dragon ball fan, but they're somewhat interesting (to me, at least).

I help admin a forum about comics, movies, and all kinds of geek things. Herochat.com. Our biggest forum is the one where we have characters fight characters.

One huge DBZ fan put up "Mystic Gohan vs. Thanos w the Infinity Gauntlet." Now, Gohan is indeed powerful, but Thanos with the IG has control over the entire universe.

This guy completely refused to accept any evidence that Gohan was outclassed.

Finally, one of our regulars came out with "Thanos is omnipotent!"

This guy's response?

"OMNIPOTENCE IS OVERRATED!"

I kid you not. That instantly became one of our mottos.

I heard this one story about a kid who's best friend got stabbed by a couple of kids from a rival school. He got pissed and beat the shit out of all of them. People then noticed that he had blonde strokes of hair that he normally didn't have.

I heard another "KAIOKEN!!!" story about a four year-old kid knocking out a 13 year old after yelling it.

There was this one website with tons of DBZ stories. I'll look for it.

One of my friends knew this kid that was attempting to get on the roof and start to fly or summon the nimbus. He was also trying to kamehameha his mom.

Don't know if this is true or not though since my friend is known for telling stuff that doesn't exist.

As far as the fusion dance, I don't even want to be reminded of that pic of Man Faye doing the fusion dance with a random cosplayer. That creeped me out when I saw a picture of it. :/

I can remember a few years ago sitting around the house at night with my hands in front of me, palms faceing each other trying to make a ki-ball (not seriusly "trying" but you know, messing around). Then one night doing it I fealt this magnetic like push/pull feeling. So one night at a friends house I tell him about it and he tries but couldn't do it...that's about as far as that story goes I guess. I still don't know what makes that feeling but I've long since stopped thinking it was ki. I still do it though, just for fun.

Well...Like I talk about my profil:
http://db.schuby.org/daizex/viewtopic.php?t=6255
I called my son "Yohan" in memories of Gohan (this character represents my childhood...So it's a very important symbol to me)..I was to embarassed to give him directly the name "Gohan" so I trade the "G" for a "Y" to hide a little bite my "craziness"(like my parents said lol) And my boyfriend wouldn't never agree to call him Gohan anyway! lol X-D
The other night he asked me "Mommy, why did you call me Yohan?" And I was too shy to explain it the real reason X-D

But I discover that I was not the only one! A friend of mine who is an Elementary school teacher said that in his class last year she has a little "Bulma" O_O
Wow...I'm not the weirdest mom on earth!

I remember when I was younger (around 14 years old) we used to have a maths teacher called "Vezina" but damn! He looks a lot like Vegeta, he speaks like Vegeta (well like Brian Drummond lol), he was very hard, rude and not very nice at all lol so every DBZ fans nicknamed it "Vegeta" it was so funny and the nickname stay for years!!!

Me and my friend were doing this too, except I took it very seriously, and tried very hard. At one point, I thought I'd actually done one, because soon as I yelled and released my fake Ki ball, My friends dresser that I was aiming at collapsed.

Hell no!
Look at this: http://www.rrq.gouv.qc.ca/Interactif/PR ... ms_02.aspx

It's the official list of Given names in Quebec...Like you can see, in 2004, two moms call their son Gohan in 2004!!! So, as we are talking now, two 4 years old boys are called Gohan...

So I'm not weird at all
