What are you talking about? She did it in that one videogame. That totally means she has the ability to absorb energy.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

If they're taking abilities from video games, Marvel should be OP as fuck...
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Yeah....I'm not getting how they gave her energy absorption. Pretty sure it was well established that she doesn't in DBZ/GT. And using DB video games makes everything really tricky since you could just say she has all kinds of powers from the ones that had the share move options. Plus that would mean SS4 Gogeta can lose to Mr. Satan's dynamite kick.

Power Absortion aside, they made a point about #18 being smart enough to not feed Ms.Marvel with her energy and made her stronger. They still gave #18 the advantage in having the superior overall stats.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.
Oh she won? I don't know if I'm surprised or not. I'm sorta familiar with Captain Marvel and there should be no conceivable way she'd beat Android 18 but you never know.
Did they take Android 18's absorption from a game then?
Makes sense 18 would win, the fact she can casually annihilated an entire planet alone made her victory pretty obvious.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.
How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):
Spoiler:
Absolute Zamasu(my name for their fusion) wins. He fulfils his utopia and dwells in his loneliness(x amount of time for this to happen). He starts to doubt of his achievements, Goku's body influences him to seek out challenges but there's nothing. Perfection becomes a curse. Absolute Zamasu starts to dread his existence and presents himself to the Omni-King, detailing on his actions.
Using his powers the Omni-King restores everything to the moment before Goku and Vegeta perish, humanity's last barrier. Zamasu concedes. He ask for forgiveness(mainly to Goku, Gowasu and Trunks) and understands that his justice isn't justice at all. He asks for judgement and the Omni-King delivers.
Trunks is forced never to travel in time ever again, all the time-machines are destroyed.

That's the general thinking it seems. I would think that if they gave her the ability in game, perhaps it was written somewhere that she can, or were they just assuming?
I planed to look through the Daizenshuu books later (on site of course) and see if there's any mention of it.
Oh yeah, first post was updated with link a few hours ago.
I'm not even talking about 18 suddenly having the power to absorb energy, but the simple facts stated. Dr Gero was not the founder of the Red Ribbon Army, the dub called them 'androids', not Gero, and Marron is 18's daugher, not Maron.
The guys over at Screwattack can do all these complex and often absurd calculations, but they can't do some simple fact checking?
