Goku using hakai after training with Beerus is too much but Trunk beating fused Zamasu with a random spirit bomb/sword attack fueled by 4 humans and 2 worn saiyans is fine? Ill take the manga over the anime any day. I think the fights are a hell of a lot better and make more sense.

Genkidama sword was bad as hell and I'm still mad at this... Same goes for Ikari.

Beerus is a mortal. May be labeled as a God but he definitely isn't immortal. If Goku can obtain God ki then why can't he use attacks that gods use? Explain

Chapter looks good aside from Goku using Hakai, with that he just surpassed Vegetto, so Vegetto being surpassed was part of Toriyamas outline after all.

1) Nothing says "hakai" works against people [far] stronger than you. Goku and Zamasu are both in the same league here.

2) Vegetto was about to wipe Zamasu out completely with a Final Kamehameha.

3) Vegetto dominated the entire fight, whereas Goku and Zamasu are pretty close to each other.

4) If Goku can use "hakai"... so can Vegetto

No way Vegetto's been surpassed.

I am curious as to what the outline might have said for both parties to be so different, there are similarities but the differences are more pronounced..

Cool battle but still a tone of stuff I dont like.

Zamasu making tones of copies and bulking up just feel like poor copies of Black's clones and his Grotesque form.

Also not a fan of Goku Hakiing stuff either. Haki, like Genki power and the Mafuba, is not a simple beam attack or even a more advanced ki ability like the Solar Flare or Disk attacks. You should not just be able to see it and copy it or just suddenly start using it.

It took Goku a while to master both the Genki Dama and the Mafuba....so why the hell dose he get to pull this power out of his ass?

Nobody has ever defended the spirit sword beyond "cool but nonsensical". I don't see why people keep pushing this narrative.
