Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Its a Yardrat, just superfied.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Looks to me like one. But who knows, maybe the alien fighter just happens to look similar and that's it. I mean throughout DB history, many aliens looked almost identical to humans from Earth. So it wouldn't surprise me either way. Personally I would like for him to be one. How cool would it be to see a Yardat in action!MagmonKai wrote:

Finally seen the preview.
No that alien is not a Yadrat....but looks like one, maybe he's from U6. Also I think one of the people shown, going by the chest, is universe 10's main guy.

Same clothes, same skin color, same markings on his head. Only differences are the eye color and the missing whiskers, which could be attributed to the fact that he's an individual and not every member of his race should look the same, you racist!MagmonKai wrote:

How long will this arc be going on for?
The animation was rather anticlimactic for the opening of the tournament in the NEP. Seems like Goku senses an insane amount of power from on of the fighters, probably Jiren.

Looks the same to me besides the fleshy whiskers, but that could just be their equivalent of facial hair. King Kai has those too but South Kai doesn't.Doctor. wrote:Same clothes, same skin color, same markings on his head. Hope the Yardrat comes from Universe 6.
Also, that is the third look a Yardrat has.

Ah I see it now. So website has 2. Card has 3. Anime has done both 2 and 3.....dammit guys consistency XD.Grimlock wrote:Liquir has three tails in the Dragon Ball Heroes card.dbzfan7 wrote:Make up your mind. Does he have 1 tail? 2 tails? 3 tails? They keep changing it. Sometimes it's 3, then it's 2. Then it's 2 on the character profile on the website. Then it's 1 on the Heroes card
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Yes, I saw.Lord Frieza wrote:Frieza said he'd join them but the idiot gods wasted time arguing over the logistics and rules on the matter and lost their chance when Beerus showed up.TheSaiyanGod wrote:I did not understand, Freeza wanted to join the 9th Universe, but did not enter? What did he say to Sidra and Rou?
Edit: Frieza is still plotting to himself though, he'll get the last laugh....
But Freeza thinks the tournament will be a good opportunity to take advantage of the Universes.
Whis still cogitates the possibility of him bluffing about entering Universe 9, and Freeza replies '' maybe ''
We do not know if he really would betray the Universe 7

The seeds were planted in tonight's episode. However, time is too short for Freeza to defect from U7, and who will replace Freeza if he did?TheSaiyanGod wrote:Yes, I saw.Lord Frieza wrote:Frieza said he'd join them but the idiot gods wasted time arguing over the logistics and rules on the matter and lost their chance when Beerus showed up.TheSaiyanGod wrote:I did not understand, Freeza wanted to join the 9th Universe, but did not enter? I'm probably the only person who likes the explanation for Golden Freeza's stamina issues being solved. It makes sense and it gives us some clue as to what meditation is exactly supposed to do (explaining why Piccolo constantly does it).
I don't like the big power boost but he was already far above SSB Goku in the movie anyway and you could say he was rapidly losing strength from the start of the fight, which would mean he's as strong now as a mastered Golden Freeza in F would be.

I'm cool with it. Still not invested enough in the arc to care either way, but it jives.Doctor. wrote:I'm probably the only person who likes the explanation for Golden Freeza's stamina issues being solved. Freeza just figured out he can do mental workouts now?Doctor. wrote:I'm probably the only person who likes the explanation for Golden Freeza's stamina issues being solved. If they always give relevant power increases, why did not he do it during the years he was in hell?
He was not so superior to Goku SSB. He could not even disable Goku's SSB transformation, nor could he defeat him initially, even trying.
He was reportedly using all his power at the end of the fight and yet Goku held out.
How can he disable Goku's SSB form with a punch?
It makes no sense

The concept of training was new to Frieza when he was resurrected. It totally makes sense, i don't see why people are so invested in finding plotholes where there aren't any.

He just never saw need to do this, for it was with his power that he had dominated the Universe.
Maybe people will get upset that more powerful villains have appeared, Goku and Vegeta also became more powerful, but Freeza with a mental training that he could have done to us behind, overcomes the weakness of his form and suddenly equates with Goku, as if The Saiyajin had not trained more
Has the official announcement topic never become a topic to discuss about the episodes? So why complain about a response to a post that was already related to powers?Jinzoningen MULE wrote:You're in the DB community, it's always a power level thread to someone.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:I'm sorry did I just walk into the power levels thread?
