Official announcement Thread is not a substitute for episode threads. Poor Ajay has to come here every week to say the same thing.

That is the point.

This topic has already become several times discussions of the episodes.

I just made a comment about powers, answering another comment that was also related to the subject

Remember when Future Trunks asked Mecha Freeza what he was so afraid of?
Looks like Freeza asked Goku the same question! HAHA! :D

If any more proof was needed that Frieza is DB's greatest villain...this is it.

What? This doesn't make any sense. Why he a God Of Destruction of a universe that is not going to participate on the tournament is going to fight?

I don't like the big power boost but he was already far above SSB Goku in the movie anyway and you could say he was rapidly losing strength from the start of the fight, which would mean he's as strong now as a mastered Golden Freeza in F would be.
It was nice boost given how many powerful people Goku fought since Golden Freeza like Hit and Black. Keep in mind, he fought Hit again in his rematch without the Kaioken and Hit was stronger. And he didn't start to really lose power until somewhat late in the fight.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Makes sense to me. Judging by the NEP, it looks as if Daishinkan is going to have them spar a bit to test the stage.

The Grand Priest are probably use them as a way to show off how the Tournament works.

He is from Yardat. He is probably from Universe 6, so his design is likely going to be different.

You're in the DB community, it's always a power level thread to someone.
This is so true!

Gotta say, that's a Toei filler Yadrat and it's the best version we had. Now this is the canon one. Should be from U6, but maybe not. Kasheral looks like a human and he is from U11, so maybe some species repeat.

And about the spoilers, Freeza didn't leave, but was so close. The fake spoilers had to get that from somewhere, too much coincidence to be made up.

The question I have is can these guys actually be worth fighting? They didn't seem like much in DB.

Most likely this was purposefully leaked by Toei to garner interest. We know they hear our rants, know where we watch th our streams online and they even have contact with the fans in Japan.

Looks like the build-up episodes are over. I liked what they did and watch everything in a row will make it much better.

My only complaint is how they kept Jiren a mystery. See him doing something badass, like easily beat a monster villain than the Pride Troopers were having trouble to defeat, would work much better for me to hype him up than just see him beating strong guys in the Tournament.

As for the arc, with Freeza plotting with Frost and the 4 GoDs that won't participate being there it may lead to something more.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

If they planned this, Toei marketing are so good! They put all the fandom discussing and waiting for the episodes.

There is no rule against taking a guy from a different universe..

There are too many possibilities, they could even pull a fighters can choose to be on someones team mid battle and their loyalty is their universe's problem..

Also, Freeza just performed hakuto no ken, all he needs to say is

"You are already dead"
The Lord moves in mysterious ways but you don't have to. Please use your blinker

DBS is in such a great place right now, it is by far the best on going anime series in my list. I take back what I said before that I wanted this to end, if they keep producing quality animation and interactions like this then by all means, keep .milking .it.

Calm down, you have not seen the tournament yet. All they have to do is give everyone a few decent fights and it should end up being ok.

Sure that'll make it better, but I agree with him. It's my favorite atm. These Freeza episodes have been the best episodes for some time imo.

Could someone re-post the supposedly fake previews of the next episodes?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

No because some people will twist it as true again.

Let it go
