I'm sticking to Kitano and Ide for that shot. The ear shape is a little off from what Ide normally does, but the actual ear detail itself is very distinct.

Some of the stuff in the NEP for 96 looks a lot like Kitano.
I guess he could be supervising one of the episodes and animating on the other since there's been such a big gap since his last episode.
Or he's just not on 96 and we mistook someone for him. Looking at those brows on the 97 image those are actually very Kitano.

Oh, derp. I just woke up, so I thought #97 was #96 for a second. Huh, that's totally thrown a spanner in the works.

I got nothing, then. Actually, I wonder if that's an Ide correction of Nii's work.

At this point I just wish they would stop doing four spike thingy on the end of Goku's hair. It looks very unappealing.

I don't get why they draw Goku with 4 spikes if they drew Black and Goten with 3. Those two characters look better for a reason, four spikes is too much.

Isn't this Itai's work (or at least a correction done by him)?
The nose, ear, and position of the mouth remind me a lot of his work.

It seemed like he and Kitano's names were switched around in the previews, considering 96 looks like Kitano's work, so I'm pretty sure this is Itai's work.

Fair point, that ear of the Grand Priest definitely looks like an Itai ear.

One Piece: Episode of East Blue is directed by Ootsuka Takashi with Satou Masayuki as the animation supervisor. Those two have a lot of contacts, so don't be surprised to see some Dragon Ball Super staff appear there.

That Goku looks horrendous. It's funny because we can inmediatelly tell when something is off but if someone would tell me "hey correct this image so that It looks better" I would have a little bit of a hard time figuring out how to fix it. I guess I could give it a try though...
