How would it not make sense? We don't know how strong she is. Every member of a particular universe doesn't have to be Godlike and ever member doesn't have to be fodder. Who's to say her race isn't weaker than humans? Who's to say she got on the team because they only had 48 hours and she was the first to respond? Who's to say she doesn't rely on techniques and trickery to get the job done?
We shouldn't say Roshi/Tien/Kuririn doing well is nonsensical because they're weak compared to the fighters we already know. To be weak or strong are meaningless labels when compared to nothing. Roshi's strong when compared to Bulma. Roshi's weak when compared to Goku. That Pride Trooper ain't Goku.
What you can say is, It may be disappointing if there are a multitude of fighters that Roshi can defeat through raw power, but you can't say it doesn't make sense for Roshi to be able to defeat someone we've never seen fight. Would it make sense for Vegeta to be able to defeat her, is so, why?
I've been saying a while each team wont have all God level fighters. It wouldnt be logical for so many mortals to have attained that power.
I think its even logical some will be weaker than Buu Arc Goku.....but TOEI may not be logical in this sense so I'm less confident of it.

I think that's horrible. They are making her unnecessarily aggressive and uncooperative for no reason, but there series has always had that same issue with powerful female characters. If they are powerful they are automatically bratty @$$holes too... I.e. GT Pan...
This was actually my biggest fear of Super introducing females Saiyans. They would be reduced to that same DB trope of powerful women being uncooperative.
Yeah no kidding, she is at least rivalling pan in terms of getting fandom's stink eye..
But pan was pure nonsense and this is nonsense but a little sweetness ( towards kale ) mixed together..
Cauliflowa could still redeem herself if that sweetness is exploited later..

Pan was despised because of how annoying she was. Caulifla isn't really getting that much hate, just the hope that along with her Vegeta-ish tendencies, she also gets Vegeta's karma, or she will get annoying.

Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

There's something about cauliflowa which makes me entertain the possibilities of maiming her and getting away with it, while with pan they were more along the lines of why exactly is she still existing again..
..Yeah, I think you are right..

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

From what I noticed, the hate started after she went SSJ1 and SSJ2 in the span of five minutes. Though I like GT Pan and she does have a sweet side so I think it's unfair to say she was "pure nonsense"

I'm not surprised. They complained that Gine was too nice, that Kale is too timid and Moe to be a Saiyan, and now that Caulifla is actaully acting like a non-domesticated U7 Saiyan, i.e. a smart-assed ruffian and a braggart, they hate that too. I guess it's fine when Vegeta or Bardock act like that.

Because Vegeta and Bardock got karma for their dickisness

I'm fully expecting either Gohan or Vegeta to give Caulifla a good old fashioned ass kicking.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I think she pretty much deserve all that hate: became a SSJ in one of the most stupidest ways of the series and then reached SSJ2 5 minutes later, her design is not really impressive, so is she's attitude: a cocky brat just like Pan in GT.
With all that I guess she probably need Freeza to teach her some good manners

What's the problem with Caulifla? I can understand disliking her but hating her? That just baffles me. The worst she did was toying with Cabba, which is expected taking into account his pushover personality.
I enjoy her. She's got spunk, she's honest and straightforward.
Let's not underestimate murichim, the meat heads can be quite problematic when they decide to say fuck it all, stop caring about their health and takes you down with them..

Arrogance has a pretty good track record of backing it up in DB. I wouldn't expect Caulifla to have a poor showing just because she's moderately arrogant.
