They don't have Kame-Senin?! He's been a staple to the manga+anime since the first saga of DB though!! Next you're going to say they don't have Popo!

You know they should throw Purple Ninja in the game. He would kick major ass.

Yes, we must get Roshi!
PsyLiam wrote: Plus, SSJ IV Goku is very, very ugly.

I'm mildly curious as to how it will work though. Will Adult Goku turn Super Saiyan IV, or will Chibi Goku be a seperate character?
What's so ugly about SSJ4 Goku? I've always thought it looked kind of cool myself.

I'd have to disagree there; I happened to think the design of SSJ4 was pretty cool, not to mention a refreshing change. GT writers could've got even lazer and just made SSJ4 an even bulkier, longer haired version of SSJ3 after all.

Instead they gave Goku stupid red eyes, stupid hair (even for Goku), and pink fur.

It's not the fact that the design looks bad (although it does), it's that it makes no sense. Golden Ozaru makes sense. Somehow compacting that down into a human form to create a new (ultimate) Super Saiyan form makes sense. But the hair being black? The pink fur? Where have they come from?

Eh. Well, black IS Goku and Vegeta's natural hair color. And just don't question the fur. You might as well question why a Super Saiyajin 1-3's hair is yellow.

Because it's glowing with power. Within the context of Super Saiyan stages, yellow makes sense, as it does with Ozaru. But the idea that their hair goes golden, and then back to black once they've reached the highest level of power? Nope, not getting it. Especially since their ki aura is still yellow.

.. You suck.

Anyway, I stand by a statement I once made. Don't question GT.

Yes, questioning GT can lead to only one thing, a mental break down.

But even for me, the first time I saw SSJ4 I was like, WTF? That makes NO SENSE even for DB! But since then I'v started to just ignore that part cause the design is still cool.

I like to think of it this way; in normal SSJ, hair turns blonde because their's so much energy in the body, and that is how it manifests itself.

But transforming into SSJ4 provides its own new body, and it's so much more powerful naturally than a normal Saiyans, that the hair remains its natural color because it hasn't been maxed out.

Oh, and Super Saiyan 4 isn't the last level of Saiyan power. Much to everyone's woe, Bulma infact hints that their is a Super Saiyan 5, but neither Vegeta or Goku had the time to reach it before the series ended.

I've always wondered why SSJ4 Gogeta had red hair on his head. Perhaps, maybe, he was an SSJ5?

I can't discount the possibility, because he never actually says he's in SSJ4. But I would think if he was really in SSJ5 that they would've made a big deal of it. I would guess that his colors are just some side effect of fusion.

I remember the first time I caught a glimpse of Goku in his SSJ4 form was back years ago when I picked up the GT Perfect File books. I was just learning about GT and I remember that I didn't even recognize Goku at first and thought it was a new character! SSJ4 Goku isn't too bad-looking, now SSJ4 Vegita is just plain sad and ridiculous. Poor Vegita, reduced to looking like an aging heavy metal singer in his most powerful form! That's practically a mullet he's got there!

I haven't seen that far yet. What's Bulma do/say that hints at a fifth form?

I only saw that part once, but basically she says that with the Brute Wave amplifier it would be easy not only to raise his power to SSJ4, but to go even higher. Vegeta looks at her stunned, saying "What would that make me? Some kind of Super Saiyan 5?!" Then he goes on to say "Go ahead Goku, you bring out your Super Saiyan 4, or 5, I don't care. I'll still beat you."

Ah. It would have been interesting to see what an SSJ5 would have looked like. Assuming I'm wrong about Gogeta anyway.

I'm pretty glad they didn't, since things were getting pretty ridiculous anyway.

"Oh no, it's a new bad guy, much more powerful than anyone else! Oh, hang on, I've just gone up a Super Saiyan level. He's easy now. Woo!"

The first time worked because there was forshadowing, and drama, and stuff. It worked with Gohan too, because of the forshadowing again (which had been going on since the start of the series). SSJ III was pushing it, but since it didn't save the day, okay. And SSJ IV did make some sort of sense, since it wasn't just "by the way, I can go to Super Saiyan IV" - the whole Golden Ozaru thing actually made some sense. But even with that, the concept was being pushed to breaking point.

And I don't see how black hair fused with black hair = red hair.
