SS (A type) and SS (C type). Um... what? (Broly forms)

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

SS (A type) and SS (C type). Um... what? (Broly forms)

Post by cheddarsword » Tue Jun 27, 2017 11:24 pm

So I'm doing research on all types of saiyan forms, and I ran a cross a couple that appear to be unique to Broly (and possibly Kale?).

Super Saiyan (A type)
http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Saiyan_(A_type)

Super Saiyan (C type)
http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Saiyan_(C_type)

Okay so, A type we all know to be legitimate, though I'm not sure it's worth labeling.

C type however, suggests that Broly's Ki doesn't diminish as opposed to standard Super Saiyan's constant drain or the LSS/Berserker form that increases it so fast that it actually causes him stress. Essentially, they differentiate this from from standard Super Saiyan in almost the same way you could differentiate LSS/Berserker from Grade 3.

Is C type legitimate?

What they're saying about the C type is basically just speculating and pulling out of nowhere. The source that mention's Broly's forms as A type, B type, etc merely mentioned that the C type first appeared when he battled Gohan and the others on Earth, and that he later transformed into the B type.
Broli-type
Broli appeared in the movies. A-type is distinguished by him not having gold hair while he’s a Super Saiya-jin. B-type is a powered up Super Saiya-jin state. He’s called the legendary Super Saiya-jin, since he loves destruction and slaughter, like the Super Saiya-jin of Saiya-jin legend. Both types are from when he fought with Goku on New Planet Vegeta. C-type is his form from when he battles Gohan and the others on Earth; he later transformed into B-type. It’s a Super Saiya-jin that’s evolved differently.
That's all that's officially said regarding the "type" forms Broly demonstrated, so the wiki coming and saying it had no ki drain or anything is them basically just making things up.

I'm guessing B type is what we usually call LSS.

So C type exists, but anything beyond that fact is pure speculation then? It would make sense. I figured that Broly's base form was just so powerful without mind control that standard super saiyan's 50X multiplier just boosted him beyond what was considered high-end at the time with LSS boosting it to even more absurd levels.

This is why the DB Wiki can't be trusted.
