Goku being this chill/calm really gives out his Boo saga vibe for me... like he has everything under control, a part of me likes it since its badass, the other part hates it. I'm not a fan of him being the OP kinda character like say Saitama who's always calm as hell. I hope this arc doesnt just hype him up as "the mortal that has no equal" type of thing.

Frankly, Goku deserves some wins. He has been defeated at least once in every arc in super and has barely any on his own merits to his name.

I'm not implying that I want him to lose, I just dont like them building him up to be this OP calm character, I do want him to win but not in a OP way. He does deserve a win, ever since Super began he never really got a clean win against the main enemy, if theres ever a time that he should win its this.

I really hope this doesn't turn into a Universe 7 wankfest like the U6 tournament did where only Jiren and maybe one other guy do any heavy lifting against Goku.

First the Freeza wanting to join another Universe thing (even if it didn't happen in the end), now the fact that everyone will be targeting U7.

Everyone targeting U7/Goku was something a lot of people thought wpuld be the case thanks to Bergamo and Toppo appealing to the gods and directing blame on Goku. They even had an episode where the Kaioshin of all universes convene without universe 7, so it was definitely going in that direction.

Everyone targeting U7 was established in the Zen Exhibition Match, he didn't nail that simply went on something previously established. And they still got the universe wrong, besides it's not exactly the hardest thing in the world to guess Freeza is a back stabbing prick.

Goku is about to show the value of teamwork.

We expected that with Goku, its the others I care about.

Goku, Gohan, 17, Krillin, Vegeta will do well.

Roshi may have his moment.

The rest will probably do nothing.

I'd add Freeza there too. Piccolo, Ten, and 18 seems to be getting less focus than the others and while Vegeta hasn't been getting much focus, he's the second most prominent character. As for the spoilers, lol Goku taking people on 1on 8. I'm interested to see how they manage to cut him off from his teammates.

I don't know, I'm not getting that Cell Saga vibe here despite the similarities. Goku doesn't seem to be relying entirely on Gohan this time but is instead eager to show off his own abilites.

You can comfortably assume there will be a lot of straight punching and kicking without any choreography to write home about

The most dynamic part has Goku only attacking 3 times with no inbetween frames and then a good chunk of it is just repeating frames.
The clip is fine, but there is nothing special about it.
