Dammit... Super has me by the balls yet again. I want to know more about this supposed new form for Goku. But at the same time... I don't. I want it to remain a mystery to make the moment all the more special when it actually happen. Like Future Trunks mutated raging SSJ form. The teaser image has me so super intrigued. No pun intended.

I wonder what event transpires to make him ascend. I guess everyone dying could be it. I mean everyone, not just the Universe 7 team. But there's got to be a trigger event and someone monologuing to him.

They've foreshadowed it for awhile. When he first went SSJG and got blasted and fell into the ocean where he calmed himself down to heal and power up again. And when Whis would lecture he and Vegeta. He'll probably rage out like usual and nothing happens, but will have to really calm himself down and concentrate to achieve this new form.

They've been lowkey on spoilers so far they've been handling it a lot better form the merchandise isn't leaking anything to the NEPs have been pretty lowkey eg the ep before last would have had the NEP be all Freeza vs Goku if it was last arc.

I'm quite confident they aren't gonna spoil anything and if they were we probably would have got the full look in that visual tease.

I imagine that thing in the OP is a placeholder until they officially debut whatever the new form is. They did the same with Super Saiyan Blue in Chouzetsu Dynamic and we already knew what that was for months before it appeared in Super.

That visual looks awesome. I really hope shirtless Goku will be a thing, and hopefully the battle damage will be as good as in the poster in the actual show.

I doubt it will be related to Kaio-Ken as the new form will probably be designed by Toriyama. Can't wait to see it! I'm betting on either black or red hair.

A new transformation for Goku, what a novel idea! Wait..., Oozaru, Kaioken, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJG, SSJB, Kaioken SSJB; oh!

I'm not excited at all for it. It's possible to make a new transformation interesting, I just really doubt it's going to happen here. Why can't they at least develop the current transformations, like it was done with the original SSJ and Blue in the manga. Offer struggles and dilemmas, make the end product much more rewarding than power up to save the day.

Blue shouldn't even have been a thing, when we had SSJ God.

About Goku's new form; I don't have a problem with it, the only thing I'm scared of is that this tourney is gonna become a Goku wankfest..

Well that settles who the team players/ones sticking to the plan are!

So 18 might be going in alone when every universe is targeting them, great idea! Or should I say great build up to her getting knocked the fuck down leading to Krillin getting what he was gonna get in 99..

Which is an extremely dumb choice, especially with 17 being the 4th (5th?) strongest fighter on U7, he's not even gonna help the weaker fighters? Gohan and Piccolo are strong, but c'mon every universe is targeting 7. It's no wonder they're already in a bad situation in 98.

I'd be very surprised if 18 isn't with 17, but I think you're right about the beat down and it would make sense for that to be where Krillin's strength comes from. I hope not as I'd like to see 18 play a bigger part in this, it has bugged me since the Buu arc how she rarely gets involved.

Exacly 17 is in fact one of the strongest on the team which makes it ok for him to fight on his own i'm not worried about him 18 though she can't handle it on her own which is why i think they're fighting together and i'm surprised she's not next to Krillin she looked like she wasn't going to leave him for a second.

What are you on about? This is will be a *new* transformation, it's not exclusive to anyone prior. Goku got SS1,3 God first, no Saiyan should ever have gotten SS after the Freeza but here we are, you're right actually it's about time they stopped giving other transformations of Goku to others the only exclusive he has is SSGSSKK and that's not even a proper transformation! So yes Goku getting a new exclusive form is absolutely needed!
