If it seems to have features of more than one artist that can be a pretty big tell.

I'm just going to go with that image being a partial correction from Shimanuki, he edited the hair but not the face.

Yeah anytime in Super when jetblack Goku hair creeps through it does looks great!

I thought it'd be fun to do staff predictions for the next set of episodes before 97 airs, anyone else want to join in?

98 - Masahiro Shimanuki + TAP
99 - Yoshitaka Yashima (but with 2 or 3 animators with him)
100 - Osamu Ishikawa + Hideki Yamazaki
101 - Koji Nashizawa + TAP
102 - Shuichiro Manabe + Tsutomu Ono

As a side prediction I think late July or early August is when the animation is going to really start picking up and we might start seeing some Tiger Mask staff. Episode 100 seems like a good place for that to start, based on the episode title.

My guess is that our next addition to Super's supervisors will be the return on Yoichi Onishi with episode 103 or 104.

It's the new key visual for the arc, so it's probably based on a design they made for the arc. I'm 99% sure we'll see Goku with his clothes damaged just like that.
Hard to say on the bruises though, we'll have to wait and see.

I think the blood stains or bruises are a Yamamuro thing, so its probable that we won't be seeing them in the anime, but the battle damaged, shirtless Goku is definitely going to happen. On the contrary, why would they promote it??

I don't know if it's the case, but I would imagine that since it is the art that is meant to represent the rest of the arc Nagamine would have final say on what is on it.

I’m pretty sure they’re gonna use Yashima as a key animator for the entire Tournament of Power, like Higashide: Drawing cuts and get corrected. They did that during the Zen Exhibition Match, and I see them doing it again.
