Only two for this episode. The other two fighters from U4 are invisible or something. Not quite sure what. Tenshinhan did sense a faint presence, indicating that there were two fighters but they were hidden from view.

The fighting didn't actually start until roughly half way into the episode though.

and there was a lot in that second half for it to only be one minute

That's just his aura made to be this amazingly bright by the animators. If it was a new form, you would think that it would be used to fight the bigger bad, not fodder like Bergamo.

Yeah I was surprised to see footage from the Opening in this Episode. That almost never happens.

Only Butterfly Lady and Ogre Guy with a Ponytail have been ring out.

That's just his aura made to be this amazingly bright by the animators. If it was a new form, you would think that it would be used to fight the bigger bad, not fodder like Bergamo.

I believe that's some special way Goku can power up without having to give any Ki to Bergamo. He's not actually transforming yet.

That ending (especially with Goku and Gohan flying towards the screen) gave me chills. It all goes back to what Goku once said in EP 90: "Let's reach even further heights together!"

Honestly, I see the similarities, but I'm really not getting Cell Games vibes with them. Goku really doesn't seem to be putting all of his faith in Gohan as the only plan to win this.

No, but now that you mentioned it I can see Goku fighting Jiren first, then letting Gohan fight him after Goku exposes Jiren's weak spots.

It's not official. Youngjiji is just a popular fan manga artist who does his own DBAF manga.

Young Jijii isn't associated with Dragon Ball in any official capacity as far as I'm aware. It's likely just a guesstimation as to what Goku's new form might look like from the front view.
