Yes he's still childlike and I wouldn't have it any other way but in Z it's clear that Goku has grown and matured. In Super he's sometimes even less mature than in DB where he was an actual child.

That's definitely not how Goku would approach the situation in Z. He always approved of teamwork for the most part when an enemy was stronger than him. Goku and Vegeta vs Buuhan for instance or when they were in Buu's belly.

No. It's a very consistent character flaw that Goku doesn't use teamwork until he sees the threat for himself and is completely forced to team up, Roshi lampshades that all the characters that left beforehand have gone on record to say they weren't teaming up, even in ROF they made their own point of Goku not teaming up unless he feels the situation
