Roshi suffers from a mix of values dissonance (old men perverts aren't funny these days) and him being mishandled by the writers (he groped ladies but he never carried them away, and at least they beat him up for his antics).
So if Roshi tries pafu pafu with the female fighters, despite his claims of strength, it would be in character and it could be funny if done well.
I expect Roshi to be serious with the fate of his universe on the line, but I have no problems if he tries anything with the females during the battle royale.

No, I don't want to see it. I was already annoyed when he said he'd take the female fighters. What kind of strategy is that? Why don't you take the fighters you can handle?
Idc as long as it's not a u2 fighter because I actually really want Brianne and her squad to fight Vegeta. I'd also like to see the vampire girl fight Piccolo or 18.
I'm honestly tired of it. I was pretty delighted to see him train to get rid of his weakness of lust for this tournament. That's what I call character development

Fuck no. If Super are actually going to go through with the character development of him getting over his lust for women, they better commit to it. It will at least make his antics in episode 89 much more easier to swallow considering it lead to something significant for his characterization. The last thing I want to see is Roshi hitting on girls, and even worse, getting eliminated for it. I would really resent Super if it took that direction with Roshi.
EDIT: Totally misread the OP. And thought the question being brought up was Roshi hitting a female, as in fighting female opponents in the Tournament Of Power. But it was actually whether Roshi would be "hitting on" a female.

I think the Muten Roushi will be eliminated because of something like that. He'll try to do his usual perverted antics and fall of the ring or maybe the female character will kick his ass and throw him into the void.
Now, I know the staff did the whole "The Muten Roushi has gotten over his weakness", but DBS doesn't really stay consistent with previous developments, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's back to his old self again.
I wouldn't mind, but I hope its executed well and is funny. The censorship and time slot restrictions will definitely make it look stupid, so it would be better off being a short scene.
Well, he did try at one point with Caway, but it was just a feint to freak her out.
I have mixed feelings about that. One one hand it was clever of him to use her seduction technique against her, but I miss how goofy he could get with women.

Nope, but my biggest desire is to see Z fighters give him a wish as a present, he asks to return young in order to start training and fighting with them again, and that line of his full potential not reached yet could be a good start
As many have said, his antics in ep.89 were cringeworthy at best, insulting at worst, and not very flattering for the character. He wasn't doing any pafu pafus there - he was on his way to rape the girl. And that's wrong for dozens of reasons (top of them being the fact that I have to skip this scene when my 8-year-old nephew will watch the ep).
Roshi was always quickly put to his place when doing his pervert crap and that was the fun thing about it. If they want to revert him to pervert-mode (which I'm not sure whether I want to or not), at least don't have him drag those scenes too much.
