I'm getting it. Looking forward to it. Didn't mind the Super version of BoG to be honest.VejituhTheWarriorGuy wrote:Is anyone getting the first Super part this month?

Wow, didn't expect it to come this soon but can't complain. That is definitely reused Resurrection F promo art, but I'll live with it because its not a bad cover. I'm guessing we will be seeing SSGSS Vegeta for Part 3?OmegaRockman wrote:Part 2 DVD/BD comes this Fall:

Still can't wait for next week. Despite the animation issues seeing Goku fight Freeza is such a nostalgia trip, and once its over finally we'll be getting the new stuff.

Ok I think Funimation has truly taken the Destroyer thing too far! Even Champa is not known as a GoD, which is unforgivable on an UNCUT RELEASE...I really hope this means they plan an edited release for the UK. That or KidsClick. That would ROCK.

Destoryer is a term they use to translate Hakaishin as translated by Simmons in his subtitles nothing to do with uncut/cut as the often or not refer to them as "Destroyer God" too. Remember the Japanese voice actors are saying one word so it is probably more easier for the dub actors to say "Destroyer" instead of "God of Destruction" furthermore "Destroyer" also will help when matching lip flaps too. I ain't really bothered by it per se, Herms gave it a blessing IIRC so it is not inaccurate, so just a matter of preference.Cure Dragon 255 wrote:Ok I think Funimation has truly taken the Destroyer thing too far! Just to let everyone know, the Dragon Ball Super panel at Anime Expo is tonight at 10:30pm EST and it'll be livestreamed on the Anime Expo Twitch page. Maybe we'll hear some news about what Forneverworld and everyone else was hyping up a few months ago

It may be brain fog since the last time I watched Z in English but arent they still called Kaioshin in the dub? That makes it odd to me they would even translate the word Hakaioshin.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Destoryer is a term they use to translate Hakaishin as translated by Simmons in his subtitles nothing to do with uncut/cut as the often or not refer to them as "Destroyer God" too. No, they're called Supreme Kai in the dub.GodKaio-Ken wrote:It may be brain fog since the last time I watched Z in English but arent they still called Kaioshin in the dub? Nope, they're Supreme Kai in the dub. They don't use Kaioshin in any way.GodKaio-Ken wrote:It may be brain fog since the last time I watched Z in English but arent they still called Kaioshin in the dub? Kaio-sama = King Kai, Kaioshin = Supreme Kai. They had to work around the hierarchy of the Kais/Kaios during Z's dub days & "supreme" is what got chosen for them.GodKaio-Ken wrote:It may be brain fog since the last time I watched Z in English but arent they still called Kaioshin in the dub? Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

Nothing was announced as far as I could tell at the panel.
Then again, nobody in the audience asked any questions pertaining to casting or confirming James Marsters

I'm sure that's one of those questions that they wouldn't have answered, anyway. Typically panel Q&A's are more about the opinions/experiences of the people on the panel, as opposed to revealing information about upcoming content.shadowmaria wrote:Nothing was announced as far as I could tell at the panel.

Hey they had their priorities straight, it was clearly worth two questions to shit on 17 being strong in Super.shadowmaria wrote:Nothing was announced as far as I could tell at the panel.

Yeah, didn't agree with the power scaling questions at all, it seemed pointless.Slaythe wrote:Hey they had their priorities straight, it was clearly worth two questions to shit on 17 being strong in Super.shadowmaria wrote:Nothing was announced as far as I could tell at the panel.

I liked Sabat putting aside his personal opinion of GT to make way for the professional response, which he's used for a few years now.
But something along the lines of 'do you think we can expect new casting announcements for upcoming arcs such as the original press release for the Beerus arc, or will it likely more of a case of surprise upon character debut?', or 'are you able to make comment regarding speculation that Zamasu is voiced by James Marsters in XV2, and are the voice cast from XV2 likely to crossover to the anime as well? (sometimes, this doesn't happen. Final Bout, for example)', or 'on a creative decision level, Sean Schemmel, (form my speculation from up-threat in the form of a question regarding Goku Black's voice)?'
Also, from what I could gather, nobody brought up TeamFourStar, for which I was glad.

Yeah I noticed that people don't ask smart questions at DB Panels. No TFS question? That is a relief.shadowmaria wrote:Yeah, didn't agree with the power scaling questions at all, it seemed pointless.Slaythe wrote:Hey they had their priorities straight, it was clearly worth two questions to shit on 17 being strong in Super.shadowmaria wrote:Nothing was announced as far as I could tell at the panel.
