And FT arc (specially the ending) is not too dark for kids because...
Come on, is not the same thing with present timeline...

U9 elimination, yet another thing that was hinted by the new ending. I wonder what other hidden (or not really that hidden) clues might be there. :D

But we don't even know if it's possible for Super Shenlong to bring someone back who's been erased by Zeno.

Trunks' entire timeline was permanently destroyed...
I know but even though Trunks' timeline was destroyed and it is horrible, Zamasu was wreaking havoc and the good guys simply couldn't beat him and needed Zeno's help. Sure Zeno's methods were dark and countless lives were lost but Zamasu was at the very least taken care of.

In this case, Zeno is destroying universes for his sadistic gain and pleasure; all for entertainment. He was planning on destroying universes anyways but this tournament is a good idea for him to go ahead with his plans. Also, if universes were to be destroyed, how come killing isn't allowed? How come you just end up on the bleachers once you get taken out? Shouldn't the two concepts go hand in hand?

If they actually go ahead with universes being destroyed then it is on a scale much higher than what happened in Trunks' timeline. We're talking multiverses wiped out for a game.

Something will happen and they won't do it, I just know.

Why the fuck is Vegeta even fighting U6 as one of the first. They should clear the fodder first... Even more if the likes as HIt and Cabba are buddies with them

Now that I think about it, the whole Frieza/Frost scheme might happen after the ToP ends, Freeza said that he wanted to manipulate the Gods and warriors, so what if he manipulates some of the Gods, warriors and even Angels from the remaining Universes to form some kind of Anti-Zeno group?

I saw someone suggest that maybe after they see that the Universes get wiped out immediately he wants to take care of U6 right away because it will be harder for him later on emotionally. Rip the band-aid off so to speak.

No doubt guys, it is universe 9. Goku`s face looks serious after long time, maybe first time in Super. Interesting part is how freeza will react to universe buster Zenos.

Annnnnd about the animation reuse, they probably avoided to put effort in the universe which is going to erased with 3 episodes. Lets see what happens after episode 99, hope animation and art will have some development

Doesn't it say that he's lost his patience and charges at them? Really is up in the air why he chooses U6. However, he's probably going for Cauli.

What? He was pretty serious in like the Freeza episodes that were like 2-3 episodes ago.

Also, while this is targeted to a younger audience, lets not forget that when we were that age we loved seeing people get beaten up and blooded. That's primarily why we liked it; the fighting (at least for me). People these days have a much greater tolerance for violence than you think. Just look at all the movies and tv shows now days. I highly doubt a 9 year old would be emotionally traumatized by a fictitious "universe" getting destroyed. Like MisteryOne Said he did in the FT arc. I'm so glad it's not a bluff and it will really happens. Adds lots of tension.

1. That's not Bergamo
2. That's not something from the show, it's just practice work from an animator that has nothing to do with the show.
3. It doesn't look like he's crying.

Yeah it looks like Universe 9 will be the first to go which is what I would have put my money after they already lost in the Zen Exhibition.

Seeing as that Universe did at least have three fighters we were familiar with, I was sorta hoping they'd stick around a bit longer and that one of the other Universes with characters we don't even know would get wiped out instead.

Whatever wrote:Yeah sure,by that logic Yamcha is being written out of saga just because he is too strong as well.
Buu is being written out because Toriyama does not want to do anything with him,not like it matters anyways, his power is not impressive anymore and 6/10 current team members have surpassed him in strength and he would not have done anything in U6 arc outside of maybe ringing out botamo.
Yamcha was stated to be left out due to his weakness... In the RoF saga Krillin was banking on Buu, and when he heard Buu couldn't come he said at least we have Gohan. Buu was also one of Goku's top choices for both tournaments. If Toriyama really didn't want Buu he would of just had someone else take his place in the U6 tournament and Buu wouldn't of been chosen for the practice match against U9. And is it a coincidence that Buu defeated one of U9's strongest fighters even while amped? No. Buu is clearly above most non god tiers, as he should be. Not to mention how he put up the best fight against Beerus besides ssj2 rage Vegeta. Buu has always been shown to be one of the strongest. What you seem to not understand is dragon ball super is based purely on plot and not powerscaling logic.

Considering it's highly unlikely that 7 out of the 8 universes will be wiped out for good, along with their Gods of destruction which would make for a waste of character designs since they didn't do anything yet, it's likely this is either not permanent or Zeno will somehow bring them back.

I don't believe for a second a universe will be wiped out forever. They'd just be limiting their story ideas for future arcs.

Everyone seems to think it's Universe 9 that will be the first universe destroyed, but nothing so far has implied that. They are being super vague with which universe is set to face the chopping block first.

Goku and Vegeta will fight the whole Universe 9 team, thats why U9 has 99.9% chance of being the first team gone in the upcoming episode.

Considering U9 players were unfortunate enough to try and go all in with Goku.... it doesnt seem like they'll last. Plus it'll serve as a surprise for Goku, if he's the reason why U9 goes boom because he threw all of em then that'll hit him harder, or not and he goes to his jolly world of "Toppo, Jiren! FIGHT MEH!"
