I wonder if this early Vegeta focus really does imply an early knockout for him.

He got early focus in the Champa arc and ended up taking out 3 of their men and fighting the last one.

Yeah am not sure what people's obsession with Vegeta getting knocked out or humiliated is. Dude is the second main player. The reason probably is he wasn't in the recruitment arc much and once Jiren vs Goku starts that is gonna be the main event so get some Vegeta shine in before then.

I think its weird too.

He wasnt featured heavily in recruitment because hes been featured literally all of DBS. There was no reason to focus on him there, we know Vegeta already. They needed that screen time to reintroduce old characters.

I'm predicting a Vegeta vs Broly moment strictly for the parallels to the movie. Not sure if that will result in a Vegeta win or not but its pretty likely if that happens Kale will take him out and it will be up to Goku just like the movie.

Broly girl needs to take out at least someone from uni 7 or she won't feel like a threat to us, while Vegeta is chasing them if they don't want him to fall at the hands of kale then he would end up falling because of hit once again, which I don't see happening..

If Vegeta is going to be ringed out because of his rage attack then it's because of kale
