Creepy!
Oh yeah, Chi Chi gets turned into an egg and stomped on doesn't she? Do you know where I can see that? (Last request I promise)

ChiChi turned into an egg and then crushed underfoot.

That scene is not as readily available. The only place I could find it was at the beginning of this AMV, and they cut Goten's reaction.

Cell's death was my favorite. His last words were perfect.

Vegeta's brutal disposal of zarbon, fist in the guts and lets fly with a ki blast!
funimation did some tricky editing to censor it back in the 90's but the original japanese episode stuck close to the mangas morbid detail.

while we are on earlier chapters vegeta's point and die attack on the saiberman who tienshinhan whooped, flying brains and eyeball action just as grim (awesome) as celljr's gory deaths

I like both of Vegeta's deaths....funny, he's my favorite character, yet I like to see him die :? But both of his deaths added much to his character development, so they're actually some of my favorite scenes for him. When he's dying after being shot through the heart by Freeza and in tears as he reaches out his hand towards Gokuu....it's just very touching, considering how brutal he's been shown to be in the previous episodes. And in the Buu saga, where he hugs Trunks before deciding to sacrifice himself, it shows definitively how much he really cares for his family.

I have 2 favorite Deaths:

1st. Goku getting blown up by Cell was VERY emotional, knowing that he couldn't be wished back, and Gohan screaming for his Dad to come back almost made me cry.

2nd. Trunks slicing-and-dicing Freeza was awesome. Looking at Freeza's face when he was sliced in half was PRICELESS.

Did like Cell's death. Really liked how in the dub Ginyu Transformation was playing and his last words of "I'm perfect."Remember on a couple different forums I started threads about favorite anime villain deaths and mentioned it in the first post with responses of guys saying they liked it too.

If there's a better moment in the dub, I dunno what it is.

I just loved that whole fight. Cell owning everybody and the entire team coming back to try and take him out even though it was impossible, and coming back again after getting knocked around, and Cell getting so into it. "You have no chance! NO CHANCE!"

He was pretty good, yeah. He's no Norio Wakamoto, though.
(not trying to sound elitist, his acting just isn't on par)

Anyway, mine would have to be Goku's at the Cell Games. Sad, then funny when you see him arguing with an irate King Kai afterwards.

I also have to mention Imperfect Cell absorbing the rich dude in his first appearance. It was awesome! :P

Favorite death: Dodoria snaps the neck of Elder Moori.

Runner-up: Dodoria kills Cargot.

The second choice wins points for the casual brutality of blasting that poor little boy to death, while the first owns for being a rare example of real and actual "murder" without the victim being somehow dissolved or obliterated in the process. When the dead Elder falls thudding to the ground and blood dribbles out from his mouth, it's a highly effective moment considering the valiant fight he put up for two episodes-- something would definitely have been lost had Dodoria simply vaporized him, IMO.

Perhaps my choices are a little biased-- I've liked Dodoria ever since I saw him in the Bardock special.

Almost all Hero-deaths are favorite of mine. Even though you know they are going to die you are not used that they'll eventually die.
Still, Piccolo's death is number one on my list and Vegeta's on Namek number two.
I love when formerly avil and ruthless characters show their soft side.

In the villain-death part, I like the Cell Jrs. the most. Splat, slash and woom!

Going to have to agree to disagree, then; I think Cell is the one time the dub actor was better than the original.

The dub voice for Cell was the best casting Funi ever did by far. I personally loved the voices of his first and Perfect form voices. His second form voice wasn't great, but acceptable.

Odd, I recall my father, who had no access to the Japanese version to this day, describing Zarban's death to me pretty much just like that. Though I imagine the dub was less... gory...

Umm, ... Tamberine and Cymbal. Cymbal's death was just badass (Sword'd!), and Tamberine ... well... he had it coming. XD.
