Just watched it. It looks like they fight him one on one. Goku is in base with his hands on his side as he watches Frieza attack Jiren in Golden form. Then Frieza is nowhere to be seen (defeated) when SSB Goku attacks Jiren. You guys would know better than me if this means anything, because I'm not to familiar with DB Heroes and if it usually has spoilers for the show. Jiren, Goku, and Frieza as the final three wouldn't be unexpected though.

I mean it doesn't confirm it's a foreshadowing obviously, it's just that it's worth noting that Heroes has a history of spoiling or foreshadowing things in the show at times. Goku, Jiren, and Freeza being F3 I wouldn't have a problem with , but we don't really know. I don't have a problem with a potential Jiren VS Freeza fight though.

We I was never angry about Goku Black and while I hated Freeza returning when it was announced, I STILL hate him being here, so I'd say I trust my gut feeling at this point.

That's probably because DBS98 is Goku eliminating some of the coolest characters since Ledgic, which is a shame. DBS99 will be emotional, from the sounds of things.

I would love to see Vegeta try and insult him again only for it to not work. Magetta working together with his homeboy Botamo is just how it should be.

Huh, neat. Vegeta fights Botamo for the complete set of original U6 warriors like how Ginyu was brought back so Vegeta could have a full set of Ginyu Force kills. Does that count as fanservice?

Kind of hope Botamo has a better showing than in U6 though. He was always the most underdeveloped member despite having one of the most useful powers in the show. Him fighting with Magetta is kind of neat though. They did team up in the Yamcha baseball episode after all.

I also hope to god they don't do the ritual. I know it was just a jokey musing on this thread, but they do have the six Saiyans, and the Saiyans have done similar idiotic things in the past for a good fight.
Forget Cauli learning SSB being a jump the shark moment, that will kill Gohan, the only sane Saiyan's, character there and then if he's like "yeah sure, I'll pointlessly endanger the lives of my family members to help someone who wants us all dead."

I don't like Universe 6 and 7 fighitng in this way. I'd prefer for somebody else to get the victory over Botamo and Magetta, and I especially want them to show off more techniques than what we got in the Hakaishin Invitational

And at some stage, Krillin gets disqualified, presumably for killing.

I don't know if I'd like a scenario where Goku, Freeza and Jiren are the last men standing. I'd prefer if the last three, four or even five fighters are all from different universes, to add tension.

And i'm pretty sure Vegeta's knowledge of Botamo and Magetta's powers will be mentioned. As usual, people like to jump the gun when it comes to spoilers, like assuming they would "forget" that Future Trunks didn't know Goku was alive, and that wasn't what happened.
