Why did all 12 Universes in future trunks timeline still exist?

Without goku, zenou of the current timeline would have just destroyed the eight weak universes right now. So how come that in future trunks timeline, a timeline that plays like 10 years in the future, without a goku to make zenou wanting to see a tournament, the universes all are still existing? Wouldn't he have just destroyed the eight universes as orginally planned?

IIRC it was said that Zeno had been thinking about getting rid of some universes but couldn't figure out how to choose. The ToP allows him to make the choices so it is happening sooner. So while there was going to be some Universes erased we don't know when, could of been a billion years from now.

Because the Grand Priest is a pretty little liar, and probably lied about this too or pushed Zeno in that direction, all this mortal level nonsense seems to be something that's too complicated for child like Zeno to come up with and it just so happens, that Zeno himself never said anything about it, only GP.
Besides Zeno is prone to forgetting stuff, he needed Goku to remind him of the tournament after all.

Goku's death in Trunks timeline is why we never had a tournament in Trunks timeline (Both Champa's and Zeno's). In Future Trunks timeline, Zamasu and Goku Black killed all of the Mortals (The Mortal being stronger than the GoD may be weaker in Trunks timeline or Zamasu end up killing him or her or it via immortality).

No gods of destructions or angels so order. Zeno isn't omniscient; if anything has a mind of a child. While Grand Priest is so much more knowledgeable than him. I mean if he finds some order from this why mess with it?

It was stated by the Daishinkan that Zen'ou had been deliberating on the idea of there being too many universes for quite some time, but that Goku's idea of a tournament provided the perfect opportunity for Zen'ou to actually do something with that idea. As such, since there was no Goku around in Future Trunks' time to make the suggestion of a tournament to Zen'ou, he simply never went further ahead with the issue of there being too many universes other than "deliberating" on it.
