Will Toei/Pony Canyon do a Blu-ray release?

I agree. I think best chance we'll get is if Funimation decides to pull the trigger with one "last" release of the Level Sets to put DBZ to bed.

Why do I have the feeling such a "last" release of the Level Sets would most likely be "here's episodes 35-39 so you don't have to rely on pirated copies of the XBLA/PSN version!"?

Yep and it's a very slim chance at best too. Funi just got done releasing all of kai tfc, I pretty sure they are on the same boat as toei, z is over for them too. They also have their own blu rays that they pumped out not to long ago. I hate to say it(and believe me I really do) but db, z, and gt will most likely never get a proper remaster. ; _ ;
Bulma is awesome... but chi-chi is best waifu :wink:
