I don't see how it would be a problem as long as he credits them properly. I mean, if it was my story I wouldn't mind someone making it into a comic. I think that'd be sweet.

Sadly, the website of Juuhachi-gou and Mirai Bulma has been inactive for years; I sent Juuhachi an e-mail ages ago and received no reply. However, as I am openly crediting them for their work, I don't think there is any infringement of intellectual property going on in what I'm doing.

Argh. I'm just wary. On the one hand, I know I wouldn't like it if my work was floating around in some format that I'm not aware of, reaching people who may never realize it's mine (people don't always read credits...). Selfish, I know, but you don't get paid for fanfiction. All you get is reader feedback.

On the other, DBSZ certainly hasn't been touched since I discovered Dragonball fandom. ROAM was added to Juuhachi-gou's homepage after the Mirai Shock! website closed down. That's about all the activity I've seen from them... Damn you, gray Internet moral issues. =P This is gonna bother me for a while, honestly.

What are you going to do, once you get to ROAM?

That's a long way off, but if I actually manage to get there I'll probably either try to write an ending or ask someone to write one for me... either way, I'll try to wrap up the series somehow.

Mm, that might be a task. They'd just gotten into that 'new super human evolution' idea. Not to mention the Juunana-banana arc... Well. Best of luck. Getting that far will be one hell of an accomplishment. ^_~

Ah, DBSZ. Despite your seizure-inducing amounts of fangirl Japanese and insistence on recreating the GT era-ish cast, I remember you so fondly.

This is pretty much the only fanfic I ever followed....and the Chikyujin Chronicles or something like that.
