17 forcing Goku to go Blue from park ranger training is sillier than Caulifla attaining SSB in the tournament.

And also Roshi being retconned to match up to current Base Goku after he stomped Tenshinhan.

I already said it before but the reason he is there and not Goten/Trunks is because the kids would become very OP if they do special training(look how Mirai Trunks and Gohan reached Blue level after hours of training).

I dont mind if Caulifla gets Blue, I think it has something to do with breaking your limiter/unhidden potential.

Trunks and Goten are not in the tournament because:
In universe reason:because they suck without fusion,even vegeta said so.
Out of universe reason:because toei/toriyama/toyotaro does not want to use them,potential means nothing when even yamcha is a prodigy,anyone can be written to be at any level,Gohan trained 3 years with Piccolo and ssj Goku back in the android saga and his gains were very small,while both goku and piccolo got a great deal stronger,while the opposite happened when those 3 went into the time chamber.

Spirit sword trunks is probably beerus level and think 17 wasn't blue level because goku was flat out holding back and 17 confirmed that

you missed the part where Goku himself said he had to go ssb and where he also said 17 was holding back too i think but whatever, i still don't think Gohan is stronger than ssj3 Goku till porven otherwise. and rival doesn't mean equal by the way, Goku rivaled Beerus in BOG too.

If Daishinkan truly attached to Zeno then its a way to give him a weakness without nerfing him to set up tension(in case lets say Freeza kills the Zenos which would make Daishinkan obsolete).

Guess it's that "Zeno's are a glass cannon" suggestion from way back. Like they can destroy easily, but they're a bit fragile, hence the need for bodyguards to begin with.

Catching them offguard, it has already implied in DBS countless of times you could dmg an opponent several times stronger than yourself if you catch them offguard(Sorbet to Goku, Trunks to Merged Zamasu pre Genkidama mode, Goku on Whis when they were sparring).

Also, no one noticed Daishinkan was using a barrier when the Hakaishins were sparring? I bet he could also get dmgd if he gets caught offguard

Cause gohan would've called goku out on it where he practically ask him to show his full power in blue not to mention the narrator stating gohan showed Power that rivaled goku in blue
