The English release cut out the cutscenes? Foo. *can't figure out how to get psx emulator to play Japanese ps1 games* *or anything for that matter*.
I'd say the two things that bugged me the most about UB22 were the lack of effort put into the super attacks (Since when is the kamehameha a regular ki blast, only a different color?), and when certain animation querks are bad enough that a visually challenged kid is distracted by them... ... ... ... Egh. Though mostly that only applies to the mouthflaps, which isn't a big deal (but Final Bout seemed to get those better).
Now that I think of it... how many DBZ games force restarting after the credits...?
*wants to play UB22 now*

Umm... yeah... Sagas... Uh... Why ppkeep ierrupting
Woah, so, in the midsts of this otherwise pointless post, I received a phonecall, and some random chick that I've never seen before came to my door asking if she borrowed a tie from me. And something decided to eat half the letters in the last paragraph. Clearly this is a sign of things to come.

Consolation prize? For once in DBZ, it seems as though fan feedback was given the utmost serious consideration upon this product's release-- you'll notice that we haven't seen a DragonBall Z: Sagas 2 to explore the Buu and GT episodes, an' ya just know that this wouldn't be the case at all had people kept their mouths shut.

Yeah, he is the Angry Nintendo Nerd, Angry Video Game Nerd, the angry Atari and Sega nerd, he is James Nintendo Nerd.

He doesn't even do the Playstation and N64 games that sucked.

Still, he had a review of the latest E3 Convention.

Then I say we snag Armake and ask him to review it, or maybe Jedite (he reviewed Legends, but it was positive, which was cool. And he remarked on how not all fans know certain terms like "Makkankosappo").

Either of those would be hilarious.

It was crap back then and it's crap now. Before the game was even brought over to the US for the sake of marketing, everyone knew to stay the hell away from that game considering there was Dragon Ball Z Legends and the Super Butouden series and Hyper Dimension available. All of those were FAR better than UB22.

Yes he does. So far, he's at least reviewed one PlayStation game; Independence Day.

By DBZ Legends do you mean the prototype of the Sparking series ? 'Cause this game was quite crappy : pretty good graphics, but horrible musics and a very boring gameplay. I know what I'm talking about, I just finished the game 3 days ago. I almost prefer the Saturn version of DBZ Butoden.

American-made Dragonball Z games are incredibly hit and miss.

Hit - Legacy of Goku II, Buu's Fury

Miss - Pretty much everything else.

We don't even know if AVGN likes anime enough to even review it.

Yeah, besides, he only did Independance Day because of the actual day he did the review on, and I don't think he'd consider doing it anyway since it's not a retro game.

I think you're thinking of Armake21 not the AVGN.

AVGN could rip into DBZ Ultimate Battle 22 and Final Bout.

Although it would be a better review if he was a DBZ fan.

Yeah, anyone NOT a DragonBall fan is likely to just "pull an X-Play," and just make fun of character names, designs and stuff like that rather than focus on the gameplay.

I bought Sagas yesterday to see if it really was this bad... I'm taking it back right now.

That $12 was a complete and utter waste, and so was the broken controller I was sold, so I'll be returning that too.

Holy shit, is it really that bad? Jesus.

You can at least keep it for comedy purposes, which is the reason I keep my 'Big Green' UK dub. I'm lovin' it. 8)

But... it's... not comical. I mean, some of the graphical glitches might be (Hahaha! The saibamen are attacking a dead guy that's floating in mid air! And half his body sank into another dimention!). But most of the suckitude is the kind that's just plain annoying. (You mean I worked my ass off to get to this fight and get this boss to 10% health, and he runs away, leaving meto wander around forever? I mean, he left! That means I won! Wait, what? Gar!).
