Nope. We know Future Trunks and the gang have travelled back in fourth to retreat , right? What if that created a timeline where Goku Black/Zamasu is still alive? Gowasu could simply use the Time Ring again to check and now with the aid of Rumsshi (U10 Hakaishin) to convince Black to cooperate with them.
Black has a Saiyan body and he would like to test his limits with the strongest of each universe, Rumsshi could keep him in check if he tries something funny.

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Hahaha it's almost like it's written and animated by multiple people who don't bother to make sure what they are doing is consistent with others on their team. Isn't that what the head/lead director is for? I swear it feels like DB Super episodes are done by freelance writers and animators who are remotely issued assignments and never get in a single room together.
I do believe that's the case, though why someone would get the idea there should be 4 seems fishy. Whoever are handling the episodes must have thought each Zeno should have 2 guards, without appreciating the context of there being 2 Zeno in the first place.
Right I don't think all the writers or animators are fans of the series or even follow the previous episodes.
It feels like they get general character descriptions and designs, a summary, and are expected to put something together in a vacuum seperate from the others working on this.

So you want them to break the rules while Zeno and the Grand Priest are watching them(as we saw in the crystall ball whatever thing we saw)?
Not to mention the black of that timeline has no reason to help them.

Didn't U9 also broke the rules as well? By hiring assassins to kill/delay fighters from U7 in order to prejudice them? I listed the reason above: Black has a Saiyan body, he want to test his limits and Rumsshi could force him to do so.

Nope,it was dirty but it was never said that they cannot sabotage each other(although they were worried that Zeno might get angry by doing so),time travel is a crime that only goku and friends can avoid getting punished thanks to goku being zeno's buddy.
Even if black would listen to him, then he is gonna betray them right after the tournament is gone,or he could kill Gowasu at the first chance he gets, klling Rumshi as well and thats assuming he would want to listen to them in the first place.

Beerus killed Zamasu in Goku's timeline, but we don't know if his soul is gone for good. Gowasu and Rumsshi could have brought back Zamasu for 24 hours similar how U7 did with Freeza.

This is Dragon Ball dude. Comedy should always be there in some way. Personally I think that scene was way better than Krillin vs the Parrotmon dude. He was Roshi tier yet Krillin launched THREE deadly attacks without wanting to kill him.
I understand about comedy in DB but its not even funny considering the stakes of the tournament. It would be like if they took a diaper from Pan into the future and threw it at Goku Black to distract him.
Only if Black's one weakness was baby poop. I guess Zamasu was a bit obsessed with beauty so baby poop could be a logical weakness but...
Majora relies on his nose exclusively it seems, so taking that sense away is sensible. How it's executed is one thing, but the strategy to take advantage of the opponents weakness is sound enough. Vegeta tried to do the same to the Universe 6 guys but having previously fought one another it seems they came up with a...somewhat silly but effective battle plan around that.
They literally created that character for this gag. Youre looking at it in universe which is great. However in real life this happened:
Writer of scene whoever it may be, Toriyama or TOEI: Well Krillin in first out. How do we showcase him before he goes? Oh well what if he uses his stinky shoe against a blind fodder character?

I'm not seeing the problem. If the tournament tried to be serious 24/7, it would be boring and it wouldn't be Dragon Ball. It's not a idiotic scene, it's a scene of good strategy with a humorous edge.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

So you dont find it at all odd or wrong Krillins "True Power" is a stinky foot?
Also its not even good strategy. Why would he not smell it coming and dodge? Why not discard it immediately? It didnt even make sense in strategic context.

Of course I find it odd, it's Dragon Ball, everything is odd. I don't see anything wrong with Krillin defeating an enemy in a funny way.

I see nothing wrong with this and it has Toriyamas fingerprints all over it. It just sounds like a standard DB gag to me.

Its fine if it didnt bother you. It bothered me and the episode was easily the worst of the arc in my eyes. We dont need to agree.

Is there a rule in the ToP that only mortals could enter? Just wondering if he wasn't dead if Zamasu would have been eligible to fight for Universe 10, not being the Supreme Kai of his universe...

I'm not sure its directly stated but its highly implied. I mean we dont see the Gods of Destruction in there fighting.
