Well, that assuming Goku didn't trashed her earlier, so could happen. It will be nice to see an enraged Caulifla trying to defeat Jiren, though she would just get stomped after.perucho1990 wrote:I'm 99% sure Caulifla will get some kind of powerup after she witnesses Kale being destroyed by Jiren.

Can we seriously have cauliflowa try to take jiren on, that would be epic..Noah wrote:Well, that assuming Goku didn't trashed her earlier, so could happen. It's hard for me to dislike something that doesn't exist, like the explanation about why the Pilaf gang is young again. Sure, we know that because of the movie (and is not hard to figure it out anyway), but I find baffling that the anime hadn't find a momen to tell the audience, specially during the FT arc. That's the kind of details I was refering to.HeroR wrote:
Toei does pay attention to the details. You just don't agree with them on it like the time paradox.
Toyo shows he can't pay attention since he created a big plot hole for himself.
Anyway, I'm derailing the topic, I think. This debate is more suited for the manga discussion.

He's been knocking out small fries. Just about the same amount of screen time as Goku. Nothing suggests he will get knocked out soon when there are 60 or so people left.Dragonballgod19 wrote:Exactly and ever since the tournament started he's been getting the most screen time and knocked out the most people on the teamTheOne wrote:Vegetas strength has already been established. Vegeta hasn't been promoted much in this arc, and he was barely present during the recruitment episodes, absent during the Zen Exhibition Matches, and is already showcasing his skills this early in the ToP. This leads me to believe he will either lose early to Hit, or perhaps will lose to a transformed Brianne de Chateau, which will cause this forum and the fanbase to be completely enraged.
With your logic, Krillin should still be in the tournament but got knocked out within a couple episodes. Vegeta not being promoted during this arc has absolutely nothing to do with how well he will do in the tournament. He's been a regular since the beginning of Super and they needed to establish and develop charachters who didn't have much screen time.
Any slacking Vegeta did over the last few months easily returned to him after he left the hyperbolic time chamber.
How i predict the tournament will end:

Vegeta is still the one that always looks down to others and it's often taken off his high horse quick and easy. I'm surprissed this is still unknown. Toyotaro wrote a two page manga showing how the Pilaf gang wished for youth, turning into babies. It was the future timeline, but it's totally assumable the same happened in the present one.Majin Jator wrote: It's hard for me to dislike something that doesn't exist, like the explanation about why the Pilaf gang is young again. I wasn't saying is unknown, just that the anime never cared to explain, unlike Toyotaro.Basako wrote: I'm surprissed this is still unknown. Reminder that Caulifla is supposed to be important in this arc
There is nothing suggesting she will do anything of importance, she might but there isn't anything to imply it
krillin expected to last long yet was the first to be out
So let's wait and see
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Yeah, it could be misleading.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:I hope #99 made people realise that episode summaries and titles are intentionally vague and or misleading and the big thing lack context.
#99 summaries talked about Vegeta charging U6 when in reality Vegeta only charged to Hit before Pooh and Metalman got in the way, hardly what the summaries implied was it? Furthermore the summaries talked about Goku springing back into action we barely saw him in the episode after he disappeared.
And then the big one saying Krillin was DQ'd when he was just eliminated like normal...
Maybe just maybe people won't overreact next time... (Yeah I know not likely but one can hope...)
But for the last time, for Krillin case, it just that Herms translated the summary wrong.

The preview said that Kale was chasing after Goku, so Goku vs Caulifla will end up interrupted.Noah wrote:

This is a reminder that U2 was said to have a great chance of winning(only 10% below U11). Brianne could also be OP(like Jiren) due to her gimmick, if she eliminates Vegeta that would make her a "fighter to watch out" as I posted that old VJump Cover.
Kale is already a fighter to watch out after she gets rid of the fodders this saturday.

Jobbing is when you lose to make another character look more powerful.Dragonballgod19 wrote:http://i.4cdn.org/a/1499898683391.pngFortuneSSJ wrote:Vegeta is still the one that always looks down to others and it's often taken off his high horse quick and easy. Usually when you're set up as being a big tough guy first. Gohan losing as a four year old child against full grown warrior men isn't exactly making Gohan look like he has the natural advantage here.
Half of that image really isn't jobbing, just mid fight shots, since he turns around and destroys half the opponents when he gets serious:
He rather famously kills Cell, he kills Bojack, he kills the Spice Boys, he kills Broly(for reals this time), he knocks Raditz for six giving Goku the time to full nelson him, he beats Barry Khan, he smashes Saiyan Saga Vegeta into the ground with his giant transformed ape ass, he fights Lavanda to a draw despite being blinded and poisoned, and he defeats Garlic Jr...twice.
Piccolo, Goku and Krillin are friendly spars. Not even sure why they're on the picture list. Someone confirm if it's possible to job in training matches please.

"Fuck."
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I fear this might be a tendency in this tournament: big fights being interrupted by some reason. Probably the final ones will be the only to last until the end.perucho1990 wrote:The preview said that Kale was chasing after Goku, so Goku vs Caulifla will end up interrupted.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Probably cause he doesn't job all the time. You keep saying job, but you don't really know the meaning of that word if you're using it like that. Vegeta jobs most of the time, Goku loses most of the time.Dragonballgod19 wrote:Everyone has jobku, jobhan, piccolo and others especially jobku it's weird because he jobs all the time yet nobody bats a eyeFortuneSSJ wrote:Vegeta tasted that feeling more times he wished for and it's just a matter of time until it happens again.Ki Breaker wrote: Can we seriously have cauliflowa try to take jiren on, that would be epic..

It's cause he gets triggered for some reason by people mentioning how Vegeta is the resident jobber and then tries to counter by calling the others jobbers when he's only really bringing up losses. Jobbing isn't the same as losing,Akyon wrote:Jobbing is when you lose to make another character look more powerful.Dragonballgod19 wrote:http://i.4cdn.org/a/1499898683391.pngFortuneSSJ wrote: Vegeta is still the one that always looks down to others and it's often taken off his high horse quick and easy.
