Yeah Zamasu himself is not all that great. Goku Black mainly succeeds because Nozawa knocks it out of the park. Once Zamasu became merged he became so dull to me. Freeza is just so much more charming than he is, it's not even funny. I think Zeno is more charming than he is. Goku Black is the one who really stole the show between the two of them.

Zamasu dosen't seem that interesting in either his dialogues, personality or his portrayal as a whole.. Once he becomes black he gains a little more to his overall appeal..
In the simplest of terms, I don't like the villan.. There isn't much to either elaborate or discussion here actually..
If we aren't going to debate about how can two people have different tastes that is..

Freeza is great but we need new faces. New characters with crazy evil minds, they shouldn't keep bringing the same evil guy all the time.
Zamasu/Black just needed a longer arc to become a greater villain.

Ok, but when you quote me with a hell no response and I call you out on why you feel that way, I don't get your attitude here. The point of a discussion board is to have a valid discussion, not just say hell no when there's nothing of substance to say.

Anyway, I like Zamasu because in terms of DB villains he felt fresh, a Kaioshin that fell from grace. Not just another big bad that wanted to destroy "just cause".

Yup, I can barely stand to watch Frieza when he's on screen. I would have paid a lot of money to have Recoome in the ToP somehow powered up. I'd have paid even more to see a dance/pose off between the Pride troop and Ginyu force and yet even more money to see powered up Recoome vs Jiren.

Recoome was such a damn fun villain. He's pretty underrated imo. I've always liked Recoome more than Freeza up until currently. I do love current Freeza, best version of the character for me by far.

Goku Black (not Zamasu) is the best villain in DB along with Frieza. His on-screen presence alone was perfect.

This tournament arc has so much fanservice, I would not have minded Black being resurrected by Gowasu for it. Interactions between him and the Pride Troopers would have been interesting, given they both fight for their own view on justice.

I've seen this recently because of the "something terrible happens" quote...how would you guys feel if (hypothetical) Zeno's decided midway to allow killing in the Tournament of Power. Would you like it? Hate it? If like, what would you like to see happen as an effect? If you'd hate it, what would be the reason.

I'm not sure on this myself but- if I'd like it my reason would be: It would bring a whole level of tension to the fighters to really be on guard. Also allows some really crazy things to happen...including accidents ;].

If I'd hate it: You'd have someone strong just use a strong attack to instantly vaporize 90% of the fighters, essentially making the ToP pretty fast and boring in a way.
