Gohan had a build up throughout the entire series. It's completely different from Kale. Kale was this super fragile girl who'd probably lose to master Roshi in a fight, to someone that can manhandle a SSB Goku.

The only situation off the top of my head that turned out to be absolute crap was in Super. Everything else was believable since he was the only half breed aside from Goten and Trunks. They've always hinted that half breeds were stronger.

Question: then why didn't future trunks have rage boosts like Gohan?

In fact , no one got that but gohan. it's almost like it was his thing.

In dbz,goku had only 1 rage boost and that rage boost gave him super saiyan,other than that?
Only Gohan was asspulling in almost every fight.

If there was a random saiyan who went broly out of nowhere in the tournament and walked past blue Kamehameha like it was child's play, that could either turn out to be really successful or really really bad..
To avoid such a big Gamble, I am of the opinion she was supposed to be introduced early only just not the full extent of her berserker state was shown, that was kept as a surprise for the tournament

So Goku can barely scratch her but Jiren can one shot her and suddenly Goku thinks fighting Jiren ten seconds later is a smart idea.

Whoever wrote this episode should be held accountable in some way. I thought 99 was "okay" at best but it was 100x better than this mess.

Her performance against SSJ2 Caulifla in episode 93(?) implied that she should be weaker than SSB, but Toei tossed all of that aside because they thought it would be cool to make her walk through a SSB Kamehameha.

She wasn't trying to hurt Caulifla. All Caulifa did was swat away a ki blast. You people overreacted to it

No we are NOT overreacting. You guys are just being complacent with inconsistent writing and storytelling.

Making it seem like the writers can't do anything wrong. I guarantee you these people aren't as passionate about their job as you are about the show. It's just a payday for some of them.

If you just take a look and see how ridiculous this all is, it's embarrassing. A lot of people think Goku and Vegeta are closing the gap on Beerus, but I can't see Beerus getting swung around like Goku somehow managed to do.

What was the point in SSB when it could simply be overpowered by the "original super saiyan"form? This form just so happens to be equal to/greater than SSB. Not at Perfext Cell level. Not at Kid Buu or Frieza ressurected level. She's stronger than Goku was when they almost crushed U7 in the Beerus arc. Going by her performance here, she could've fought toe to toe with hit in the Champa arc.

Possibly, the fact she was drawn with pupils in one of the frames this episode could imply, that the animators are getting the forms mixed up, because the other form will also appear at some point.

Kale remains the worst character this franchise has ever seen. When I thought they couldn't top Monaka.

I feel the same pain you do, in the end Kale's purpose in this series is just: "You know we can't give you guys Broly cause that would make things confusing, but instead had his feminine version and enjoy her acting exactly like him but with even less personality"

And I don't know why keep making Super Saiyan Blue look so pitiful now. That form went to shit after the Future Trunks saga.

Also this episode pretty much confirms Kale would slaughter Broly.

No, it just confirms that Broly was always God level, but just like Goku he enjoys holding back for no reason and get screwed to it

He's probably one of the hidden warriors from universe 4. Quitela seems to be very much into stealth techniques (that's why he's a mouse or a rat, I suppose). He manipulated Sidra into sending ninja-like assassins to kill Frieza, and later he told Nink to get rid of Goku with a kamikaze technique. Now Goku looks like he was taken by surprise, so it makes sense if it's universe 4.

First of all my agenda here is not that so kindly eat your words. I defend this show through its mistakes more or equal to anyone else here so if I dont like something I have EVERY right to feel that way.

He did say that and while yes I'm sure he wasnt going 110% the fact that it literally did nothing was idiotic. Assume he was going 10% power....how hard did Jiren look like he was going? No harder than Goku that is for sure.

Its still the same end result. They made Goku look weak. Very weak.
