Ok now seriously... why no Super Saiyan Blue 2?

I think we all can agree that the statement of BoG and Toriyama that the regular Super Saiyan is the way to go and the others aren't needed.

Goku by only used Super Saiyan 2 more than once he also talks about mastery of it. We have seems Trunks using it without problems and even go beyond and Same goes for Vegeta.

So I really can't see of any reason why there can't be a Super Saiyan Blue 2.

3 is a different story cuz of stamina issues but maybe a mastery is possible as well

This goes back to whether or not SSB is just SSJ + God Ki or not.

I personally believe it isnt. Its just an analogy IMO like "This form is equivalent to a SSG going SSJ but not literally that"

SSB 2 might not even be a form that can be achieved.

It's because SSJB isn't SSJ with god ki, it's a completely different form on it's own. Goku's already transformed from SSJ2 straight into Blue twice now.

Maybe it's because a SSB Kaio-Ken x10 is already way stronger than even a hypothetical SSB3?

Or maybe because SS is a very relaxing form once used to and has the best overall potency to fight, SS2 and 3 are simply pushing SS further, why not simply use SS if that gets the job done

Super doesn't cheroghapic that though, It's the same looped frames fighting lol. We'll long past the days of how characters had their unique fighting style. In Z, despite transforming, everyone had unique moves and skill sets. Watch SSJ2 Goku vs Kid Buu. Goku doesn't fight like that In Super. The same with Base Goku and Uub.

I mean, c'mon. Everything In this fight has a lot more detail and choreography than pretty much any fight In Super...besides the Goku/Trunks vs Black/Zamasu and Vegito vs Fused Zamau. I'll throw in the Goku vs Gohan fight too, I'll admit that was pretty good.

it's because the transformation doesn't work like that. after SSG there are only SSgSS of different colors. not different stages. this makes sense when you consider we've not seen any color variations of the base super saiyan stages (broly and kale don't count). as for SSGSS we've seen blue and rose. these transformations are completely different in nature than the base ss stages.

Ozaru to me is the one true transformation the Saiyans had, going from humanoid to complete monster ape form with a major height increase as well.

SSJ was to me a evolution of the Saiyans going well past the weakness of there tails and concentrating intense reserves of dormant ki. Giving them power without the drawbacks of a huge size and possibly losing themselves to a monster form.

The idea of SSB having a 2 or 3 doesn't feel right to me, I think God Ki is only something you can train to get stronger without stressing out your body. Unless your like Goku and find another technique to stack onto it like Kaioken.

SSJ 2 and 3 was really only SSJ 1 getting pushed to get stronger and Toriyama backs this up. Blue getting pushed to mutate and change seems to go against the calm collected ki control idea presented by god ki imo.

This is really why I want Goku and Vegeta to sometime before meeting Uub at the tournament to master god ki in there base.

Sure Kale seemed to rival SSB, but all that intense ki buffed her up and she lost herself in it, Blue doesn't have that problem. for all we know Kale's form is a corrupted version of blue, I mean it's green right? Maybe Vegeta's line about the original Saiyan has some basis with this. It would be pretty cool that the true "good" Saiyan god (blue) fought the first true evil (green) Saiyan god many years ago.

If you want to go back to the legend, maybe what Freeza feared and heard about wasn't the gold version at all, that was just a drop in the bucket.

Hey I'm with you there, I don't even like referring to ssj as a transformation, just a power up. Hell even Toriyama recently called ssj2 and 3 powered up versions of ssj , rather than separate "forms".

The concept of transformations to gain more power in general has been so played out, I'm tired of it too. My fingers are still crossed for Goku breaking his limits in his base.
