My friend.....where we watching the same thing? The whole fight was literally Goku vs Broly, frame by frame. I doubt it will even matter in the long wrong. So yeah, it was a gag fight. Done purely to refrence a movie character.TheMikado wrote:So this was a gag fight??? Goku was straight up smashed repeatedly into the ground in his SSJ2 form. Pops up like he's made of rubber, yet can't take a laser from a trash tier bad guy without close to keeling over. I'm not sure why this isn't easy to follow. Goku went into what looks like a serious fight when his attempts to react are completely ineffective. He's smashed around far worse then we have recently seen and with fair less ability to defend himself at all, then comes out without a scratch while also having his SSB kamehaha, TWO OF HIS MOST POWER MOVES, walked through like it was nothing and the show can't both to tell us what the heck is going on.Totamo wrote:Well, Dragon Ball is part gag or are we forgetting boss rabbit.TheMikado wrote:
Come on that's a serious reach right now... We've literally never seen Goku get tossed around like a rag doll except for maybe Oozaru Vegeta and Goku took some bad damage.
The problem with Super is that Goku pops up like Bugs Bunny right after as if nothing even happened..
Super has gone full on Looney Tunes now, its absurd and ridiculous. If I wanted to watch a Looney Tunes episode I would.
One sides argument: Kale is clearly weak, she didn't hurt Goku at all.
Other side: Well then WTF did he let her toss him around like a rag doll AND bust out a SSB kamehaha that did nothing. If he's so much stronger why not knock her out in single hit and be done?
None of this makes sense. If Goku could have tanked it as a SSB, then he should have the way Vegeta tanked Cabba's attacks.
I could be reaching though and maybe super is just being inconsistent again, which is nothing new and we all just move on and wait for next week's episode and hope that it makes more sense and is more enjoyable.
