Honestly if Brianne doesn't beat someone significant I'll be disappointed. Considering universe 2 is twinned with the almighty Universe 11, she should be quite a force to reckon with as the strongest in that universe.
I love 17 but if she can't even beat him as the fifth strongest warrior of U7, I'll be disappointed in Universe 2.

17 has better speed and defense than the others though. "fith strongest" is completely irrelevant, especially when you know Toshio (the source of your so called "fifth strongest") said gohan = 17 and that he wouldn't know who could win between 17 and Frieza, but that it would be interesting to see, aka not one sided.
It's not just about raw power.

Goku seriously needs to fuck off, he has no business giving anyone advice on anything, especially when that someone is doing a smart thing like not giving a damn about transformation waiting.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I know I'm gonna get screamed at for bringing up GT, but didn't Omega Shenlong interfere with SSJ4 Gokuu's and SSJ4 Vegeta's second Fusion Dance since he knew he would be wrecked if they complete it again? He only allowed them to do it after he noticed, that Gokuu was out of Ki.
And Vegeta tried to stop Gohan's Oozaru transformation back in the Saiyajin Arc, so C17 attacking a transforming enemy wouldn't be a first. Oh and Future Trunks tried to attack Future Cell during his evolution to his perfect form.

I doubt this translation. Goku would not be the type to attack mid-transformation. Unless the transformation is doing something that makes him panic.

I'm probably never going to understand why everyone will be mad at 17, when for heck sake, this is a Tournament to protect your whole Universe.
Things like your own honor should be lower priority than winning. Saiyan insticts as always screwing up with what would be easy victories (Just like Vegeta letting Cell find and absorb 18 back then.)

Yeah, that indeed is a dumb thing to do..
He has infinite stamina and is respectably placed in power hierarchy, just let him attack them and get some opponents out easily

Why do so many people think Brianne will beat Vegeta or that she is God level? She was just in an image with Jiren and Kale, is that enough to draw conclusions?
Well, since she's going to merge with two female comrades, I think she'll demonstrate a different form compared to the recruiting episode. This also does not appear to be the Metamoru merger or anything like that, something unique to them

No, it is quite clearly referring to Goku chiming with the criticism same as Herms. If Goku was attacking them too then it would have been mentioned in the first sentence along with #17 not last.

I think the big blue guy from Universe 2 will be very powerful. He can pierce someone with that helmet.
