Ore-sama no Ai o Torimodose...?
I saw the other topic with Tokyo Brass Style and decided this is relevant to Dragonball in some way...only flipped backwards. (Instead of someone doing something about Dragonball, it's someone from Dragonball doing something about something else...or something...) If this has been posted before, forgive me.
I heard of Ryo Horikawa singing the opening to Hokuto no Ken (Ai o Torimodose), but I could never find any information about it. Well, a couple of Youtube searches later (I should have just used Nico Nico Douga...) and I found it.

That's actually badass. Horikawa rules.
Be grateful the filler in Dragon Ball doesn't suck like the 3rd arc of Rurouni Kenshin.

But, Furuya never sang Pegasus Fantasy. It was a group called Make Up.Ash wrote:Pretty good. It's at least a LOOOT better than Furuya Tooru (Pegasus Seiya, Yamcha) singing Pegasus Fantasy...

Not quite Dragon Ball, but it reminds me of Kazuya Nakai singing Lucky Star's opening with a few lyrics changed to fit Zoro's personality. It's great when you have these sorta crossovers (if you wanna call 'em that).

Hokuto no Ken AND Horikawa Ryo? A damn good combination if I've ever seen one.
Though Kushida Akira and Kageyama Hironobu's take on the same song is certainly no laughing matter, either.

And Horikawa's singing voice is awesome. If you want to hear Konata from Lucky Star singing Head Cha La...click on the link in my signature. It's just that amazing.
Cover. Most of the Pegasus Fantasy covers I know are good (Masaaki Endou/ Kitadani Hiroshi/ Animetal), but the one by Furuya... *shudders*But, Furuya never sang Pegasus Fantasy. It was a group called Make Up. Confused Unless he did a cover of it on one of his CDs.....I know he put out a few, as well as sung character songs for series he's voiced in over the years.

Ah ya that's what I thought you must have meant. Sometimes I wish so many seiyuus wouldn't try to have singing careers.^^; *stabs her ears as she thinks back to horrible singing by Melfina on the Outlaw Star CD* >>Ash wrote:Cover.
