Will we have a subplot of Goten & Trunks?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

They fought Beerus, in the Freeza arc and the Copy Vegeta. That is plenty.
They didnt fight Beerus. He spanked them. Copy Vegeta was a BS Arc.

Is it really that bad we fans of Goten (and Trunks in others cases) want them to do literally anything meaningful?

I don't know what a "BS arc" has to do with anything, it happened in Super it is a part of Super Goku even acknowledged it in the Trunks arc... And they still attempted to fight Beerus all the same.

And of course, I am just giving my opinion.

With how much they've built up to the this tournament, I wouldn't make sense, at least from a narrative perspective to just cut from the action and see the shenanigans of two Saiyan kids with not a single interesting character trait between them ranging the shit out of a park and fighting space poachers.
What if something happens in this arc, leading to the next, and this subplot is filler?
I really miss ma boy, Black :(

Its cool man, I respect that. I enjoy your posts here, just as a fan of Goten saying Id like him to do something where he isnt just Gotenks or getting his ass kicked.

Since Goten seems to be almost non existent in Super then I doubt there will be any significant filler involving him.
