Toshio only said that he doesn't know now and that he was looking forward for their next match.
That doesn't necessary mean that there is going to be a "Hit vs Vegeta" in the Tournament.
It could just mean that he is looking forward for a rematch between Hit vs Vegeta.
And if there was a "Hit vs Vegeta" in the TOP, Toshio would know the result of the match and he would know who is stronger even if he can't tell.
NO! Instead of telling people to harass the poor guy, just friggin' wait and see what plays out! It is not that hard and what the whole point of watching a weekly show is for!
I get it the DB fandom outside Japan are not used to watching DB weekly but this getting more and more pathetic and ridiculous every week.
Next arc Toei should just put a spoilers list on their website detailed all the major events 'cuz that is clearly what some people want...
Yeah, I was just speaking about Toshio's answer to someone.
There's people taking their assumptions from his vague answer as facts.
I didn't tell anybody to ask him question.

If this is the case Toei really dropped the ball not doing anything with Trunks/Goten in Super.
I bet Vegeta would gain much more points now.
I don't think they dropped the ball at all on Goten and Trunks. Part of me feels they're taking the Boruto approach. Goten and Trunks are probably going to get more face time with Uub Pan and Bulla. Right now it feels like it's the story of their parents, and then down the road they switch roles. I don't think it's a bad approach.
Except boruto is nowhere near as popular as naruto and remember dragon ball is only back because it makes money.

Yeah I doubt they're ever going to switch out the current main cast.
I watched the first 7 episodes of Boruto and the quality of the original just isn't there yet. I don't know how the ratings are but I'll be surprised if they go for very long without bringing the main cast back.

But Vegeta is going to lose to...whatever that thing from U2 is called.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

And then stated the fight between the two

I am not so sure since unlike Naruto Dragon Ball has never really been a generation story. What I mean in this regard is that Naruto makes it a big point that the new generation surpasses the old, while Dragon Ball doesn't really focused on that. The only generation up to par with the old are the Saiyan hybrids and they fall behind of their parents because they don't train. That and I am not sure how many fans would care to watched the 'next generation'. Boruto isn't exactly lighting up the charts.
If Dragon Ball started out more like Jo Jo, which his a generational story, I could see it being successful in that regard.

Of course lets take it with a grain of salt.
Roshi was seen tired after using bankokou in episode 101, and with Universe 2 fighting this saturday, it wouldnt be shocking if he is gone and also Tenshinhan(he already got his elimination).

That's because the slice of life in boruto is so boring my god it's nothing but filler literally like what 17 episodes in and nothing still happened at least super slice of life is fun to watch.

This is far more likely to happen because the opening actually means something

To my understanding, it's because Boruto follows a manga that is not only monthly, but retold the events of the Boruto movie, similar to Super, so they using Boruto's school years to pad. I can't say I am surprised if the filler is boring since Naruto's filler were also horrible for the most parts. Toei for their faults actually makes good filler material most of the time like One Piece when they're not overextending fights and parts of Dragon Ball.

I'm the biggest one here.

He's mostly why I'm a fan of the franchise.

I can see this being the order of elimination.
Outside of Krillin being a surprise:
-Roshi and Tenshinhan barely had any focus in filler and had arguably the worst dedicated episode.
-the androids have had more screen time and better filler episodes.
-Piccolo is connected to Gohan, who's been boosted this arc.
-Freeza's been pushed as important this arc, so he'll last longer to garner more viewers.
On hiatus.
