So the 2 obscured fighters for Universe 6 are the U6 equivalents of Namekians huh? That's an interesting turn of events. What I'm looking forward to the most is their interactions with one of their U7 counterparts, Piccolo.

Well now that we know who U6's other two fighters are, we can determine that the round bug guy in the OP is one of U4's mystery fighters. That just leaves one unknown.

One of the U6 fighters should have been a Triclops like Tien. If they wanted to do something imaginative. You could see Namekians a mile away.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like when I'm in front of a new generation of Pokemon with all these new names I have to learn to follow the discussions right now.

And... NAMEKIANS!! That's awesome. It's one of those things when you don't see it coming until it happens and then you realize "well, it was kind of predictable", but I'll take it anyway. Pirina looks like U6 version of Lord Slug. I like it!

The Nameks designs are rather generic. Assuming Piccolo fights them it'd just be like Piccolo fighting himself.

Kind of disappointed. These are not what I wanted out of U6 Nameks.

I am all for more namekians, BUT - please, no more fusion for Piccolo, PLEASE! Let him find power a different way. Though the writers seem to be set on reusing old ideas, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's going to end up like that. But maybe, just maybe, this is a good sign for Piccolo as far as this arc is concerned, meaning he won't get eliminated before he interacts with them. As people mentioned, the preview + Gohan vs. U10 thing (and that damn theory that the OP hints at their elimination order ) all seem to indicate that he's going to get pushed off.

Also, the large one doesn't remind me of Slug that much. I'm more miffed that they're using Piccolo's face again, but on the other hand, the attempt to make the members from U6 distinct from U7 isn't always successful IMO. Cabba's eyes kinda freak me out.

Everything we've gotten starting with RF has been an homage in some way so it's a bit late to expect originality.

The Nameks look fine to me, Nail wasn't exactly an original design, more like a Piccolo clone.

Ether way I'm super hyped to see more Nameks, I'm going to assume Piccolo fights at least one of them, at least I hope so.

The chances of Piccolo getting some spotlight have increased, but even then I wouldn't take it for granted. I really hope they're evil and bring something diferent to the table.

BTW, I also like the warthog guy, but he's probably just fodder.
