What if stories in past games

A friend of mine told me about some interesting what if stories in Shin Budokai's and Super Sonic Warrior's. I remember 2 of them:
- Janemba distorts time and space and sends Future Trunks, Teen Gohan and Brolly into the Buu saga.
- Everyone dies in the Buu saga and Piccolo goes to New Namek, asks for Daimao to be ressucted, kicks his ass and forces him to be absorbed, thus becoming complete.

Is this true? Are there more interesting ones like these? Pics please?

Those are both true. The first is in SB1, and the second is from SSW2.

SuperSonic Warriors 2 had a crapload of what-if stories. Aside from the Piccolo one you already mentioned, I can only specifically remember one other... Vegeta "let's himself go," after having beaten Goku, and needs some remotivation. It's funny.

I've started to play Super Sonic Warriors 2 a few days ago, I've seen a story about Teen Gohan going to Future Trunks line =P haven't played it through yet.

All of it, really.

The whole thing's about Boo in Trunks' time, but with all the other playable characters forcibly shoved into the 'story.' Still a good play though. The narrated endings for each character in Arcade Mode can be pretty good for a laugh, too (Kid Boo's is hilarious).

Supersonic Warriors 2 sure had some good ones!
I really liked the Piccolo defeating Buu ending, and I'm sure Gotenks pretty much blasted his way in to everyones storylines regardless thanks to his dimension breaking!

Oh, shoot, I remember that one, too! That one was awesome. I loved the one where he showed up during Goku vs Freeza, slapped down the latter and was all like "Man, you're weak..."

Man, I gotta look these up or something. Maybe pick up the game again if I can find it...

I know for a fact it's in the first game - because I remember it, and I never played the sequel.

Here is a synopsis of the stories in Supersonic Warriors 1, taken from my Livejournal in 2004:

GOKU
----
He doesn't die against Cell. Really, that's the only thing I can remember that happens different in his story.

GOHAN
-----
Goku dies of the heart disease, Gohan becomes Super Saiyan 2 after Piccolo sacrifices himself against Cell (sort of the

same way he did against Nappa). Gohan ends up becoming guardian of the Earth, and, in his bonus chapter, Piccolo is

granted one day by Baba to return to Earth, so he can spar with Gohan.

PICCOLO
-------
Cell is killed the same way Raditz was (Goku holds him from behind, and Piccolo drills his Special Beam Cannon). Piccolo,

in order to defeat Super Buu, goes to Namek and wishes for Porunga to bring his "father", King Piccolo, back to life.

After beating King Piccolo, Piccolo Jr. fuses with him, then captures Buu with an Evil Containment Wave. In his Bonus

Chapter, Gotenks, while dimension-hopping, accidentally opens the jar Buu is in, and Piccolo and Gotenks must tag-team

him to destroy him.

KRILLIN
-------
Goku dies of the heart disease, and uses his one day back to Earth to teach Krillin how to use the Spirit Bomb, so he can

defeat Cell with it. Against Super Buu, Krillin calls on the spirit of his late friend to empower his Kamehameha. After

Krillin settles down with 18, the evil 17 & 18 from Trunks' alternate future come to destroy the Earth. He and 18 take

care of them. Apparently, Krillin decides to go bald again when he goes to fight evil 18.

VEGETA
------
Vegeta becomes Super Saiyan when he finds out Goku was killed by Frieza. When Goku comes back, he and Vegeta double-team

Super Buu to beat him. After Goku goes back to the "Other World", Vegeta decides to train Trunks to be better than Goku,

and himself to be even better than that.

TRUNKS
------
I don't recall, really. I think he ends up beating the Androids and Cell a few dozen times.

CAPTAIN GINYU
-------------
Ginyu ends up saving Frieza from Namek's destruction. He and Frieza go to Earth, and end up beating the Z Fighters, and

the Androids, and collecting the 7 Earth Dragon Balls to wish for Frieza's immortality. As a reward, Frieza allows one of

the wishes to be Ginyu's. Ginyu, of course, wishes for the rest of his team back to life. But stupid Frieza doesn't

realize that Earth's Dragon Balls only have one wish, and takes his rage out on Ginyu. After Ginyu wins and apologizes,

Frieza blows up Earth, then go back to Frieza Planet #79, where Frieza makes the Ginyu Force his slaves.

FRIEZA
------
Frieza ends up winning his battle when he comes to Earth, then he wishes for his immortality. He fights the Androids and

Cell, then becomes the ruler of the universe.

DR. GERO
--------
This one is screwed up. You only spend one battle playing as Gero, in a tag-team training session with Cell. All of the

other battles are as the heroes, versus Gero and his creations (including a Mecha Frieza Clone o.O). At the end, Gero is

still attempting to figure out a way to beat the Z Fighters.

ANDROID 18
----------
Instead of killing people, the Androids simply defeat Goku, beat more opponents, and, after 16 sacrifices himself to kill

Cell, 17 and 18 go travelling across the Earth out of boredom. Her Bonus Chapter is like Krillin's, but without Krillin

being involved.

CELL
----
Cell wins the Cell game (even going as far as to destroy Gero before it), and sleeps until he can find a worthy opponent.

In his Bonus Chapter, he fights against Buu, and beats him. Cell destroys the planet in frustration, and searches the

universe for a stronger opponent.

MAJIN BUU
---------
Fat Buu ends up beating Super Buu, and pretends Hercule beat him, reforming and becoming his number one pupil.

GOTENKS
-------
In an attempt to escape the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gotenks ends up dimension-hopping, fighting against Frieza, Cell,

the Androids (in Future Trunks' alternate timeline), and Buu, as well as himself in another universe. At the end, they

return to their own dimension, defuse, and enter the World Martial Arts Tournament.

Okey doke. The Arcade Mode is set up as if it's the Tenkaichi Budokai, and when you "win," your character has a short dialogue with The Announcer. With Kid Boo, he (Boo) is just babbling and screeching incoherently, yet the Announcer somehow seems to understand him and is asking him various questions, much to Goku and Vegeta's confusion. In Janemba's ending, the two (Boo and Janemba, that is) meet and have a "conversation."

I can't remember all of them; I'll see if I can find transcripts online somewhere.

That is funny, when I used to play tournament mode in Budokai 3, I used to think of what would happen at the registration table:
