(801 = yaoi in Japanese number speak, so that's why it's on August 1st). Time for a little break from the titties!
Why is 801 yaoi?
8 is
hachi and 1 is
ichi in Japanese right or do they also have another number for them like they do 4(
shi and
yon)??
Because there are cases in which 8 can be pronounced 'ya' (for example, when counting objects, the word for 8 things is "yattsu"). So in this case, they took the 'ya' pronunciation for 8, took 0 as being 'oh', and took just the 'i' part of "ichi" to make it "yaoi". It may seem like a stretch, but there are all sorts of number pun special days created this way, some of which require far more mental gymnastics. I found out that 8/2 is actually underpants day, by using the fact that in certain combinations the 'ha' of "hachi" is pronounced 'pa', and the English pronunciation of 2 is approximated as 'tsu' in Japanese, hence you get 'pa' and 'tsu', throw a random 'n' in the middle, and that makes "pantsu"

At the same time, 8/2 is also bunny day, since that 'ha' can turn into 'ba', and the Japanese word for 2 is "ni", so it makes "bani" which sounds like "bunny"!
I only found out about underpants day being a thing through art on Twitter. One particular pic alerted me to this fact, and it features some
fine ass Vegeta in his undies (there's no nudity or anything, but since there's some *ahem* bulging shown, I'm linking it rather than posting, just in case)
