This opening wasn't good, the singer is singing to "inside" instead of "outside" which make it difficult to understand what he is saying. Anyway, I will watch anyway, what matters is dub of the entire episodes and not just the opening.

People don't know that Toei can even decide when the channel [Cartoon Network] will have to reprise the series before exhibiting new episodes and how much times it should air again and again. The same goes for the opening.

I didn't find the opening bad as some, i think it could have been better, but it's ok. It is very similar to the latino opening, and both are very similar to the jap one. Apparently the backlash and whining about the opening seems to be worse with the latino people than the brazilian ones [judging by dislikes and comments on the videos on Cartoon Network L.A / Cartoon Network Brasil channels on youtube]. Even so, i'm sure that the worst and moste hateful fandom of Dragon Ball in the world lies here in Brazil, people are insulting the singer, insulting the UniDub and Wendel Bezerra, in ways that make me ashamed to be BR.
Some memes they shared in Wendel's page were ashameful, I agree. But, not only the brazilian community is hateful, even if in Brazil this a very prominent characteristic of the fandom.

I understanded everything he said on the music. But it was a problem of mixing, and not him by himself.

Besides it could be worse. It could be the LatAm opening.

The opening wasn't really that bad, but the lyrics and metric should've been better. It's also hard to understand what he is singing. But you guys know what's the real problem? The fans. If you read the comments, they are most disappointed because fansinger X or Y wasn't called to do the opening, and now they are being disrespectful to the official singer, who is very competent. Yes, the fandom deserves something better and they are right to reclaim it, but they are being childish

Well, it's almost there and I don't think we'll have a new version any soon. Let's see how it goes. I recommend to grab some popcorn and relax

About brazilian fans: although Kanzenshuu is not exclusive to it, many users tend to be hardcore fans. The brazilian fandom is huge and Dragon Ball Z is the second or third most popular anime here, but most fans are only casuals. There will not be any brazilian boom here, but would be great to brazilian fandom to learn more about the Dragon Ball universe
Also, Nelson from Casa do Kame cited Kanzenshuu a few times in his videos. If we hadn't that boom earlier, I don't expect it happening now, because, regarding my personal thought about his videos (spoiler: I don't like them), he's one of the greatest authorities in Dragon Ball content in Brazil

There are also more names! Those ones were announced by Casa do Kame.

Monaka: Bruno Dias
Botamo: Fábio Campos
Referee of the U6 Tournment: Heitor Assali

I don't know how to react to Glauco Marques as Zamasu. The casting was already suspected, but I can't imagine how will Zamasu work with his voice. I really would prefer if they had casted Marco Aurélio Campos as him. Same goes for Fábio de Castro, since his voice isn't that old and I don't know how he will dub Gowasu.

However, Priscila Franco, Francisco Júnior, Daniel Figueira and Mariana Zink are just spot-on for the characters they are dubbing. Amazing casting choices. I loved.

Also, according to Casa do Kame, Magetta will not be dubbed in the brazilian dub. Since he doesn't have actual lines, his grunts were lefted from the japanese version.

So, does anyone watched it? I was hoping there was a lot of commentaries about it here.

I saw all the episodes, and the dub was amazing. The new narrator and the new voices for Gregory and Kid Trunks were spot on too.

Also, I loved the ending. Rodrigo Rossi is amazing and he did a great job singing it.

as a fan who watches DB since it cames on Brazil on '96, i loved it!

But... on facebook pages i saw some cancer comments on it. People whining about Krilin's voice [it's the same voice actor, but DBZ was dubbed more than 19 years ago, and he is older], and kid Trunks [his voice actor in DBZ was a little kid when he dubbed him, and today he is a bearded man who can't make the same voice, and they replaced the voice actor with a girl to make a child's voice] and others... people are searching for things to complain without using logic, i'm really mad about all of this.

A tear came out of my eye from the nostalgia i had watching the five dubbed episodes.

Yeah, I felt very nostalgic too.

The ending also is being much more well received than the opening, as I said before. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0Yu9QJjVns

And I know don't know people are complaining about Trunks' new voice. It sounded amazing.

I saw the first episode, a bit of the second and the fith and I've got to say that ater always seeng the hype around the brazilian DBZ dub I have to say I was disappointed, I didn't like Goten's voice for the same reason I don't like Funimation's and there where somethings on the translation that annoyed me like Kaioh saying "Mr. Bills-sama" either have "Mr. Bills" or "Bills-sama" having both is just stupid.

UniDub delivered quality as always. Just some little flaws that I don't feel the need to point, but let's see if they will keep the quality. The replacements were on spot. I want to see the voices for the new characters, and I hope I will not be disappointed

I've been watching the jap dub and haven't gone back to the brazillian one for years now, excep for the RoF movie. I can't say I'm too hyped for other episodes. I'll stick to the jap dub. On the other hand, I hope the airing will be consistent, for the sake of those who liked it.

Trunks' voice is different, but not exactly bad. It's like when they were redubbing Chaves a few years ago, some people were complaining about it being bad when it's just different.

I agree. Douglas Guedes as Gregory, Marina Santana as Trunks and Angelo Vizarro as the narrator were spot on.

I agree that "mr. Bills-sama" sounded redundant, but was the only error I can remember. Besides that, the script in general was pretty good.

And I don't know what problem does Goten's voice has. It sounds like a real kid.

I like the new dub of El Chavo del Ocho. They couldn't contract most of the original cast since actors like Marcelo Gastaldi(El Chavo) and Osmiro Campos(Professor Jirafales) are dead. People complain about those kind of stuff because it's different of what they are used.

Also, it wasn't mentioned here, but about censorship, the only stuff they edited were Muten Roshi and his sexual jokes, like the one in the first when Goku receives the 100 million zenis. But besides that, there is no censorship. It's the same that happened in other countries like Portugal and Israel.

I know, but wasn't this more explicited in the original japanese version? If I'm not wrong, it sounded smoother than the japanese dialogue.

Wendel uploaded this video in his Youtube channel, it's kinda funny so them react to the dub: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82mXBfj-92o

Vagner Fagundes seems to be a bit drunk, and this is a lot fun since he voices Gohan, and Gohan was actually drunk in the Battle of Gods movie

Also, Fábio Lucindo said something interesting about the dub. He dubbed a few episodes in Lisboa, Portugal, when he was there. He said he recorded his lines in 112 Studios. So, in Lisboa we actually had two studios recording the same anime for different versions, 112 Studios as additional recording for the brazilian dub, and Audio In for the european portuguese dub.
When he returns to Lisboa he probably will record his lines as Krillin again in 112 Studios.

And for last, the Facebook Page "Planeta da Dublagem" revealed more names:

Fuwa: Dlaigelles Riba
Shinjin: Arthur Machado
Potage: Mauro Ramos
Zunou: Dado Monteiro
