Red Ribbon Fates

Post by Ben Plante » Tue May 25, 2004 7:41 pm

I might just have a poor memory, but I don't recall the fates of certain members of the RR Ary being very specific. Did Silver get executed? I know it was ordered, but he just walked off if I recall. Did White die when No. 8 punched him out of the tower? Did Yellow die when he was punched out of his plane? ... I care about Yellow, that's who.And what ended up happening with Violet, I can't remember that at all, and don't have the eps to check.

To increase the fascination within the drama, should the search for a new partner begin? If so, then head to the east. You will definitely meet the one who is waiting for you."

I think you hear a gunshot indicating that Silver was, indeed, murdered. If White wasn't killed when #8 punched him out the tower, then he was significantly stronger than the average human. Haven't seen (or read) about Yellow or Violet.

(Violet isn't Murusaki, is he? Who Viz translates as "Sergeant Major Purple". Is that an accurate translation? And if so, any idea why Funi didn't do it?)

I agree with PsyLiam about White and Silver. As for Yellow, I'd always assumed he died.

Colonel Violet is a female who brings a second Dragon Ball to RRHQ, just before Gokuu arrives. That's her only appearance in the manga , and in the anime, she ran off with Red's money and got into a plane chase or something? I don't recall anything indicating that she died, anyway.

Like I said in the Goku killing peeps topic, I'll have to check my grand death list... But I'm sure I can come up with some conclusive fates. I believe Murasaki and Violet are still alive, though.

The gunshot sound seems to be a staple of the execution happy army, killing people offscreen, but I found the episode after I dug out the RRA saga DVD, and there wasn't a gunshot regarding Silver that I could hear.

And in the manga, Red just yells that Silver is sentenced to death, over the phone.

Goku threw a bomb at Murasaki in the anime, which I guess killed him. In the manga, I guess he was killed when Muscle Tower collapsed. (Okay, he IS a ninja, but not a very good one.)

Violet survived, while Yellow most likely died in that plane crash.

As for Silver, he was most likely shot.

White.. well, I really doubt he survived being puched through a wall on the 5th floor,. In extreme cold, only wearing a tshirt.

Yeah, he must've died.

The grand death list is an assload of websites, article clippings, and .txt files that I use as reference. I am compiling all of that information, as well as a bunch more of DB related info, into a help file, though that might take quite a while (I started back in 2K2 and still haven't finished)

EDIT: Here is everyone's fates I could find in my GDL. Have fun:

Jinzouningen 13/Super 13 - Goku
Jinzouningen 14 - Trunks
Jinzouningen 15 - Vegeta
Jinzouningen 16 - Cell
Jinzouningen 17 - Cell/Kid Buu blowing up Earth/Goku
Jinzouningen 18 - Super Buu
Jinzouningen 19 - Vegeta, Goten & Trunks
Jinzouningen 20 - Jinzouningen 17/Super 17
Black Hosa - Goku, Pan
Blue Shogun - Tao Pai Pai, Pan
Buyon - Goku
Cell - Gohan
Cell Jr. - Gohan
Purple Shogun (Murasaki) - It is assumed that he is killed by Super Buu's genocide attack
Sousei Red - Black Hosa
Silver Taisa - Execution ordered by Red Sousei
Pirate Robot - Goku
White Shogun - Jinzouningen 8
Super 17 - Goku
Tao Pai Pai - It is assumed that he is killed by Super Buu's genocide attack
Yellow Taisa - Goku
Hell Fighter 17 - Goku
Jinzouningen 8 - Either by Super Buu's genocide attack or Kid Buu blowing up the Earth
Violet Taisa - It is assumed that she is killed by Super Buu's genocide attack

I just saw the episode yesterday. Murasaki survives the collapse of Musce Tower, but then dies while tracking Goku, he has Android 8's bomb thrown on his face just before it detonates.

In the manga they don't show anything concerning the fate of Muscle Tower. Goku, #8 and the mayor of Jingle Village just leave. And Huski doesn't appear in the manga at all.
