I stated my personal opinion about a minor detail in a description of a children's cartoon, and I've explained why I feel that way. If that's what constitutes as SJW these days then I can't help you.
Well you're not annoyed by me calling you ma'am so I'll give you that.

It seems interesting, I hope Herms will translate it as it might contain some interesting info.

He has. Well...not fully but gave us some tibits. Key points include the reasoning some characters were left out, a few small pieces of info on some of the newer characters (for example, Paparoni sends signals out from his cane), and some strength rankings. Goku is the strongest, followed by Freeza. Kuririn is the strongest Earthling.

^Herms tweet.
So Vegeta is the third strongest? I thought he was on par with Freezer... Or maybe he is but they didn't mention him, as Goku and Freezer are equals if you don't count Kaio-Ken. Also, further confirmation Krillin is the strongest Earthling. They also did a survey in Tokyo and it seems like many people wanted Yamcha in the tournament, and amoung the U7 fighters the most loved is Freezer, and the least one is 17 strangely. Number 9 is Gohan which is also strange. Piccolo is 4th though. Hopefully they will do something with him as he keeps being one of fan's favorites.

These definitely aren't the rankings I expected them to fall in

It's odd there's actually an excuse for Videl not participating, like, nobody really expects her to right now.. or at least I didn't see anyone ask for her

To be fair the sample size seems pretty small to draw any sort of conclusions form. 23 votes for Yamcha hardly prescribes to "many" for example.

Someone asked Toshio if it was true that SSG was coming back in #104, and they provided the Animage scan. Toshio didn't deny it. He only said he was thankful to have a competent director and producer, which to me seems to imply that there are no mistakes here.

Herms98 translated everything https://mobile.twitter.com/Herms98/stat ... 3010845697

Looks like there's an explanation on why every fighter has been chose by Goku, and why some others didn't

Arale: a shame no one asked her
Yamcha: Goku didn't asked for him
Videl: Gohan wouldn't agree
Goten and Trunks: they're kids
Mr. Satan: he refused back then

Also says Krillin is the strongest human, and Goku and Frieza are on par

Paparoni sends signals from his cane, the little green guy in universe 4 moves like a ninja

I agree, but there is a clear tendency there, 23 isn't much, but the second has less than 10. About favourites, it's clear Goku, Vegeta and Freeza are above the rest.

Signals? Maybe something that could screw with the Androids.

If Dyspo is going to give Hit trouble, then they sure gave him a super underwhelming introduction unbefitting of character that is supposedly a powerhouse. Judging from what Herms translated, his supposedly stupidly strong.

That's actually a good way to eliminate the Androids, power them off..
I wonder how Krillin will re-act to his wife rebooting

I hope not, but could happen
In the episode where we see all the fighters, his cane sends sparks, it could easily mess with circuits, though as I said my idea is something like Gohan's strategy but at a distance

I thought the only mechanical component to the cyborg siblings was their eternal energy engines. Altering their cognitive faculties wouldn't make sense as they should still be comprised of organic neurons, neurotransmitters, and various chemicals. Paparoni disabling their engines would be one thing, assuming his cane can tune in to the same frequency as the engines or however they receive transmissions. It's a clever means for rendering them vulnerable. Furthermore, if their power were to be depleted then it would be clarification of the devices being the most important element to their powers.

Apparently Akkuman was a proposed name. My question to that would be how could they accomodate for his limited skill-set? Besides his power being terribly insufficient by even early DBZ standards, the only ability of note he would be cited for is his Devilmite Beam. But that's a fatal technique which expands the heart organ of anyone it hits until they die. Killing has already been prohibited in this tournament. The most use he could glean from it would involve causing U6's Namekians' bodies to rupture and then have them deplete their stamina regenerating. I otherwise couldn't think of much use for Akkuman unless he decided to use his materialisation sorcery more efficiently.

He was fighting a massive monster right? It was probably supposed to be intimidating but I vaguely remember tentacle pudding or something as the design.

When Hit was introduced, he flawlessly beat Vegeta to an inch of his life. Dypso couldn't even defeat some random monster without the help of other Pride Troopers. That was an abysmal way of introducing his character and really didn't establish him as a future threat or even a potential threat, on initial glance, one would even say that Kahseral was going to be more of a threat in the tournament, and he jobbed to the universe 6 Saiyans without accomplishing anything at all.

Yeah it was horribly done, I just mean it was probably meant to be more impressive and they failed hard

I wouldn't have believed dyspo was of any importance of it wasn't for the spoilers and the ending with him looking all harcore..
He even seems more muscular than before..
