I'm happy to see Vegeta as high as he is but why only ask a handful of people ? 100+ people is nothing for a big magazeen so surely they could've gotten more people.

To the mods, is there anyway Kanzenshuu can have a poll on the front page for things like this ? having it go for a month and when the next one comes around change it to something else ? I know we still won't get a clear view on who or what is the most popular but we'll at least have more votes than that to give us a clearer idea.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I... I know i'm gonna look like a Krillin fanboy if I point this out... but why isn't he in the poll? Did Krillin leave so little impact that he doesn't even deserve to be a member of U7...?

I don't think Krillin is likeable that much. Or at least he doesn't seem to have many fans.

BTW. This poll was created how long time ago? Cuz I am searching for it on this fanpage and couldn't find it.

Its a facebook poll made by some random people,no need to take it so personal.
If it makes you feel better in the official poll he is 6th https://twitter.com/Herms98/status/894464563965378562

I don't know man, Gohan seems to be going pretty strong from what I hear, he and Roshi would be the last man standing me thinks..
But seriously, Goku needs to win this, his win lose record hasn't been very good lately

No; there's a massively-valid critique over its statistical significance.
Aside from having the option to pick more than one person, what's so wrong with it though? It's essentially fans voting for their favorite fighter through Facebook. A social media platform that bridges multiple countries opinions and not just people of Japan. I don't think the Japanese fandom is more important than the rest of the world. One could argue about that statement, but international fans are very important as well. Someone needs to elaborate because I don't get the problem.
How i predict the tournament will end:

There's no way lol. Goku & Vegeta probably will be. As usual.

Toriyama designed him with blue hair, and around that time he wasn't very pleased with the super, they most likely didn't want to make any unnecessary changes and anger him further..
This being the definite reason isn't confirmed but just something most of us believe to be the case..

There'll more than likely be another tournament between U7 and the 4 strong universes that aren't taking part in this one, that's the one he needs to win cause not only will it make u7 the strongest but Goku the strongest in the entire multiverse.

Son Goku and Freeza are the strongest on team 7 huh? The arc has been building up that notion for a while so it is not surprising. Somebody voted for Mercenary Tao/Tao Pai Pai? Whoever voted for him is awesome and deserves praise.
At this point I'm more curious about how Goku will transform. Each time a "significant" transformation occured Freeza was around or mentioned. Super Saiyan 1, Freeza was there, Super Saiyan God, Beerus met Goku because he defeated Freeza. Finally Super Saiyan Blue and Golden Freeza went at it.
So I'm inclined to believe that Freeza will have a role in Goku's New form. They can't break the tradition now.

The point of a poll is to gauge the opinion of a certain group. Since it's infeasible to ask large numbers of people directly, you instead take a representative subset to approximate it, using tried and tested statistical methods to account for the numerous shortcomings inherent in polling. The problem is that random online polls use absolutely none of that methodology, plus they're extremely prone to brigading.

Beyond the too small sample size of that other poll, I'm positive they also took no steps to control it. Good for a very general idea of character popularity, but hardly worth talking about when trying to precisely determine the exact ranking of characters close to each other in popularity.

I know 17 is your favorite and I like him too, but don't get mad if he was last in the official poll. It won't change Toei/Toriyama's mind. It's Toriyama who decides the big players, and Toei follows. If Toriyama brought 17 back and even designed him in a new outfit it mesns he must like 17/have plans for him. And if they told Toriyama that everyone hates 17 it might encourage him even more to make 17 more relevant, knowing the man.

Japanese are significantly more important than us and that goes for any anime.

For instance, Naruto was more popular than one piece worldwide, but One piece still made more money and never lost popularity.

The dragon ball fanbase does matter to an extent, but remember, dragon ball saw a major boom in the early 2000's yet the only thing we got were new games. If we truly mattered that much, we would have gotten way more . Heck Super wasn't dubbed until 2 years later.

What happened is very simple. Toriyama forced the anime team to make of Hitto a bum like in the manga, therefore, now both converge and Hitto is done as a character. I'm gonna watch until the end of the tournament and drop the series, because, Toriyama does always the same shit and i had it. Don't get your hopes high with Jiren because, in the next arc he will be another bum. At least, my prediction that Golden Frieza was stronger than Vegeta is correct. Vegeta fanboys must be in extreme pain.

I like how quickly you drop characters that don't perform. Seriously. It's refreshing over the typical endless spinning that other fans do for their favorites.

The fact that the Japanese wanted Yamcha in the tournament is amusing. I hope Toei gives him an arc on Earth or something due to this, they can't be unaware of all the interest people have in seeing Yamcha do something.

As a matter of fact Hit should be a bum in the Future Trunks arc, but neither the manga or the anime had the typical Toriyama statement: "X is many times stronger than Hit"

Don't care much about the manga, but the anime implies that Hit is still a big deal, let's see which will be his fate in this tournament.

I really don't get why you have been watching Super since Dragonball was always like that, as you are saying yourself... There isn't a single exceptiok to that rule. Also liking a characyer just because is strong is pretty stupid, but that's just my opinion.
The rival of an arc is weak on the next one. Always. Did you really expected Jiren to be at a similar level o Hit or something? Last time he had a draw with normal SSB Goku, he's not even at a level similar to his Kaioken. And if Hit is not going to return as you are saying (but I doubt it) I won't really have a problem with it since he's pretty much a pale copy of Jotaro but nowhere as interesting as a supporting character.

Anyway, I don't see why you think Toriyama forced Toei to do anything. He just writed barebones, that has been confirmed a lot time ago. If you want to blame someone, blame Toei because of making Dyspo's first appareance so underwhelming. Toriyama had nothing to do with it.
