Probably the first part or the scenes where the animations are re-usedNasryyy wrote:What did kitano do in episode 102 of super ?
Interesting that the last episode that had a lot of re-used animation was episode 97(the last episode Kitano worked).
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 100
It's masterful, especially in the Asada Yuuji episodes. That doesn't mean there isn't a ton of reuse.emperior wrote:Wasn't Pokèmon's schedule flawless?JulieYBM wrote:If you think the animation reuse was bad here you'd die watching the Shin'ou League of Pokemon.

Are there any corrections in the latest Blu-Ray release?

A good question. I'm especially curious about dog Beerus in episode 82.superfan2024 wrote:Are there any corrections in the latest Blu-Ray release?

I really like how the ear was drawn (Speciffically the earlobe). Could've gone for a slightly darker color on the clothes and skin, and the shading on the nose is missing, but overall its a nice edit.emperior wrote:Here's how much of a difference a quick edit can make:

I prefer the darker skin color, but the black hair, Buu-arc shading and fixed eye really do make the picture better.

Ugh. That's a shame. It's not too distracting, so I guess it wasn't worth completely redrawing Beerus' facial expression, but man, he looked really dogged.Ajay wrote:I haven't finished looking, but yeah, Scoobeerus Do is still a thing.FortuneSSJ wrote:A good question. I really like this part, especially #17 sitting up. Some great shots as well.

Been blessed to have so many great drawings of SSGSS. Even Yashima drew some pretty decent ones. Kitano is the only one who is really exceptionally bad. That Karasawa Hit episode was great so many good SSGSS drawings.JazzMazz wrote:Here's a small compilation of different animators drawing SSB Goku as created by Ajay.

When has uncorrected Kitano ever looked decent? I'm surprised the guy still works for Super, he's the proof the industry is really short on staff.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Been blessed to have so many great drawings of SSGSS. ^ Looks awesome! Knowing that my favourite form is back just makes me wish even more Karasawa tackled that episode.
Oh well, let's hope there's a explanation because it doesn't make sense to bring back SSG now.

I hope the episode Shida is working on is 104, I'd love to see him animate Godku and Hit.
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 100
I thought we already knew who was working on episode 104. Of course I'd love it if Shida was on that. I'm quite excited to see how SSG looks in Super's latest style where things don't look so shiny.ArchedThunder wrote:I hope the episode Shida is working on is 104, I'd love to see him animate Godku and Hit.

That Hit looks like it was drawn by Shimanuki. Maybe he'll chip in as a second KA on the episode?ArchedThunder wrote:104 preview image.

Also, Ajay posted another compilation of how different animators draw SSB Vegeta.

EDIT: I saw a lot of people praising Yamamuro's Vegeta, which I found very confusing. I mean, I could sort of understand why people liked his Goku shot, but I feel like that Vegeta shot encapsulates everything wrong about his current stlye. It's technically not a bad shot, it's just super boring. It's not the worst there by a mile and I definitely found it stuck out more to me than quite a few of the other Vegeta's, it's just not that all that good espicially when we have some of the super expressive faces brought along by other supervisors(Tate, Karasawa, Manabe and even Ide), or just a more interesting interpretation of his own designs in the form of Itai(which got a surprising amount of hate for some reason).
