Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So, is Bulma still pregnant in this chapter? Can't find a scan that shows it, and I'm curious about Bra.
English is not my first language. Please excuse my gramatical mistakes.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Funny enough I'm the opposite. I find myself enjoying Goku much more in the anime than I ever could in the manga, he's fairly boring to me there. I do agree that this new form looks good though. The blue aura and grey eyes were nice.sintzu wrote:I wasn't talking about power levels, just seeing Vegeta fight Beerus and be there training instead of sitting around while Goku does everything like the anime.Lord Beerus wrote:Considering Goku is getting a new form, it won't matter much that Vegeta can keep up with him. By the end of the arc, he will be far behind Goku.
I don't know if you or anyone else saw it but I think this is Goku's new form and it looks amazing. Although Goku is the most annoying thing in the anime, both in terms of his personality and being forced into every scene, he's one of if not the best parts of the manga and I can't wait to see what he does here.

Do you think this'll get rid of the other forms and be Goku (and possibly Vegeta's) default transformation in the future ?Jigurashi wrote:I do agree that this new form looks good though. The blue aura and grey eyes were nice.

I can't either. In fact, this thread is the only place where people mentioned pregnant BulmaMisteryOne wrote:So, is Bulma still pregnant in this chapter? Can't find a scan that shows it, and I'm curious about Bra.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Of course they won't, much to my personal discontent. If we were give a particularly meaty contribution from the humans then I suspect it would involve their strongest techniques like the Mafuba being used to contain a mid-rank opponent and then subsequently throwing them out of bounds; that's an optimistic proposition for how much they'll amount to in this event. The more plausible scenario would likely be them eliminating a few nondescript fodder before getting removed themselves. The gr wrote:Of course the earthling won't train in the manga along with the androids.unless they train in the realm of kaioshin but none of them will have an amazing power up like #17 and frieza

I can't tell as it seems Goku is barely in it from the pages I've seen? Everytime it shows a panel his arm covers it.Noah wrote:

It's not a mistake. It's been like that in the manga ever since the Black arc started.Noah wrote:

I doubt it tbh. I would love for them to not use their previous forms all that much often anymore, but I don't see it as likely.sintzu wrote:Do you think this'll get rid of the other forms and be Goku (and possibly Vegeta's) default transformation in the future ?Jigurashi wrote:I do agree that this new form looks good though. If Vegeta gets this form, would that mean we'd get shirtless Vegeta?sintzu wrote:Do you think this'll get rid of the other forms and be Goku (and possibly Vegeta's) default transformation in the future ?Jigurashi wrote:I do agree that this new form looks good though. When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

I think the golden forms will be ditched until they fight weaker opponents, though SSJB has been shown to lower his power in the anime, it hasn't been shown possible in the manga. I'm looking for Goku to ditch them in manga and keep SSG, Blue, and whatever the new one is. The manga has shown closure with Blue after Vegeta and Goku completed it. I feel we know nothing about Blue in the anime. I hope we get a RoF flashback in the manga to complete the arc.Jigurashi wrote:I doubt it tbh. We've never gotten that have we ? I guess it could happen if he's in the middle of a fight.Kanassa wrote:If Vegeta gets this form, would that mean we'd get shirtless Vegeta?

As if Toriyama is gonna remember that.jplaya2023 wrote:the problem is master roshi was catching rapid gun machine fire like nothing in DB with a PL of 139. We can assume base goku in Super is as strong as ssj3 goku in dbz based off feats so him being "SCratched" by a bullet is bogus
Obviously no one from TOEI or Toyotaro did either.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
What's strange is that we know of guns existing that can damage fighters of Roshi's calibre. Remember General White's "Powered Gun" he used to incapacitate Goku? It looked like a high powered pistol yet it wasn't all too visually impressive. Could it have been some armour piercing pistol rounds he used? I could more easily believe Goku being singed if the round was a Raufoss Mk 211 round in an anti-materiel rifle. Those types of weapons are used against lightly armoured vehicles, helicopters and it would turn multiple combatants wearing armour into jelly. It would be interesting to see if any reaction occurred by a DB character in getting hit by one of these rounds.Miracles wrote:As if Toriyama is gonna remember that.jplaya2023 wrote:the problem is master roshi was catching rapid gun machine fire like nothing in DB with a PL of 139. Is Vegeta managing to hold Beerus in this fight? In the new images, it seems that yes:

We know that Vegeta is defeated, but Beerus is surprised sometimes and even his attacks are defended by Vegeta

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Beerus has to be restraining himself. It doesn't make sense for Vegetto to be dubiously compared with the God of Destruction last arc only for a person using the same form that allowed for Goku to trade blows with Merged Zamasu to be capable of holding their own against him. I would expect Beerus to be restricting himself down to just a fraction of a single percentage point against Vegeta -- think Freeza in his fight against Nail, only the Namekian happens to be mustering up a competent resistance.
Sorry to say this, but I still don't care very much for the choreography. It's... I don't know, too streamlined? I wish they could mix it up and do some more varying types of fighting methodology.

I think it's safe to say Beerus is holding back a hell of a lot of strength since he later no sells an attack from MSSJB Vegeta and sends him crashing to ground with one attack, and does it so hard, it knocks Vegeta out of his form. Fair play though to Toyotaro for throwing Vegeta a bone like that. Even though he had no chance of winning against Beerus.TheSaiyanGod wrote:Is Vegeta managing to hold Beerus in this fight?
